Karl Loren "Learns" About "Strokes" by Having One!January 10, 2007 I, Karl Loren, just had a Stroke and after the initial shock I decided to confront the situation and study it. Here is the first item I found:My first medical diagnosis was that I had had a "TIA" or "transient ischemic attack" In late December so I started publishing this Newsletter and the following:
Transient ischemic attack is no longer considered a benign event but, rather, a critical harbinger of impending stroke. Failure to quickly recognize and evaluate this warning sign could mean missing an opportunity to prevent permanent disability or death. The 90-day risk of stroke after a transient ischemic attack has been estimated to be approximately 10 percent, with one half of strokes occurring within the first two days of the attack. The 90-day stroke risk is even higher when a transient ischemic attack results from internal carotid artery stenosis. Most patients reporting symptoms of transient ischemic attack should be sent to an emergency department. Patients who arrive at the emergency department within 180 minutes of symptom onset should undergo an expedited history and physical examination, as well as selected laboratory tests, to determine if they are candidates for thrombolytic therapy. Initial testing should include complete blood count with platelet count, prothrombin time, International Normalized Ratio, partial thromboplastin time, and electrolyte and glucose levels. Computed tomographic scanning of the head should be performed immediately to ensure that there is no evidence of brain hemorrhage or mass. A transient ischemic attack can be misdiagnosed as migraine, seizure, peripheral neuropathy, or anxiety. (Am Fam Physician 2004;69:1665-74,1679-80. As I studied further I found that "my" TIA had symptoms that lasted more than 24 hours -- so should be categorized as a "stroke" not a "TIA." My full symptoms are described in detail at the link below, but I knew all during this research that much of what I might read about "strokes" would very likely be false information, so I put on my "careful" hat. A "quick piece of truth is that there is something called a "heart attack" and something quite different that should be called a "brain attack." A Heart Attack means there is damage to the muscle called the heart -- from a stoppage of blood (and oxygen) to the heart. A Brain Attack (usually called a stroke) means there it damage to the brain from a stoppage of blood (and oxygen) to the brain. I did not understand this vital difference before starting the research that led to this Newsletter. Even more vital I have already found the remedy. For decades I have written about and promoted the prevention for heart attacks. Some of my friends may worry that I have given false data in that area. Not true! My explanations about "heart attacks" are all valid and my oral chelation formula should prevent you from having one. The fact that I have taken my own oral chelation formula for 25 years does not prevent a stroke. The causes are very different and the prevention is very different. I have the prevention in hand and am using it now. Soon I will announce it. I "knew" about the cause of stroke years ago, even wrote about it, but did NOT pursue if for myself until the day of the stroke. The start of my research had already been published on dozens of my web pages some six years ago. Part of the reason I did not pursue it then was that it seemed too expensive. Ah! I will soon have product for sale on my web that costs about the same as Plavix -- the most usual (HARMFUL) DRUG FOR PREVENTING STROKES. My new product is in hand and I am currently working on the art work for the label!! Heart disease kills millions of Americans every year -- it is the number one cause of death. Strokes are the number three cause of death in the US. Drugs and bypass surgery are frauds -- Karl Loren has published the truth on thousands of pages. Read, now, about how the beginning of Karl's research into strokes from a personal position of having one close at hand to study.
