Dear friend,
I never cease to be amazed at what humans do in their seeking survival, nay, seeking "youth"!
The deeper issue is, "Is there really a magic pill that solves whatever is the current rage of health problems?"
The proper response to that is, "Are there some simple basic rules for restoring health -- basic rules which are not being followed? Are people failing to USE the basic rules and looking, instead, for the magic pill that makes it easier?"
Yes, I think so.
This is a newsletter that introduces two different purposes for these Letters:
1. One purpose is to present data to you that you can use to improve your health. This often includes original research and findings by Karl Loren.
2. The second purpose is to present an example of some "Karl Loren Truth." In these cases the link goes to some source of data other than Karl Loren and the value of the newsletter is the COMMENT by Karl about that other data.
The "Karl Loren Truth" here is that it is foolish to worry about a small sliver in your finger when you are bleeding to death from a gushing artery.
We are a society beset with so much false data and wrong-headed remedies that we give up on the good stuff and seek new magic pills.
Pills made from the extract of the red wine may even be beneficial, but it would be far more practical to teach and convince on the simple nature of the improvement that can come from applying basic data about diet, exercise and excessive drug usage.
