I've written often of the Four Roads to Ruin -- or your health in the twenty-first century. You can read my Viewpoint on that subject by clicking here. That phrase suggests that there are four different roads by which we have traveled to the ruin of our health. The first of those roads is that we ruin our health by believing lies -- often those lies are the ones created deliberately by institutions of power. As I first wrote about this more than five years ago many people had so much trust in the government that they could not believe that I was right -- that their own government lied to them -- deliberately.
You only have to gaze upon Mr. Clinton's picture to know that we are no longer in those times of naive innocence.
The first road to ruin is the acceptance of data as being true when it is not. When you believe that eggs and butter are bad for you, and that margarine is good -- you have fallen for a set of lies -- lies deliberately created to sell more drugs. I have lately been working on revisions of my Book, Life Flow One, The Solution for Heart Disease. Millions of Americans have died because of deliberate false information created within the American Heart Association and other agencies. The Surgeon General of the United States, in 1988, issued a set of lies about diet -- about the dangers of eating eggs and butter.
If you are a subscriber to this Letter, you undoubtedly have already dismissed the foolish notion that eggs and butter are harmful in your diet. The entire history of the lies on this matter are in my Book, and in particular Chapter Five covers the "official lies."
It is no longer hard for Americans to believe that their "leaders" can lie to them. We have too much proof of this. But, when those lies are NOT exposed, then the lie continues as truth, and continues to raise havoc in the health of our friends. There are more harmful substances created in the intestine than inside the body -- the intestine is our first line of defense. Take a look at the large intestine in the picture to the left. If you take the large and small intestines and string them out straight, they measure only about 23 feet -- not much, you say, but if you look at them you find that they are all "wrinkled" and have creases and folds. |
Now having straightened out the gut, if you also flatten it, you'll have something that could cover an entire tennis court. On every square inch of that surface there are toxins and free radicals -- fighting to get inside the body. EDTA is perhaps the most powerful scavenger of free radicals -- and it turns out that there are more free radicals along the surface of that gut -- trying to enter your body -- than there are INSIDE the body doing harm.
Vitamin C, cysteine and other free radical fighters are extremely effective INSIDE the body, but EDTA is very cheap and very effective from inside the gut -- reducing the job to be done inside the body. Also, next month I'll write about the "degradation" of Vitamin C -- the fact that above a certain level, Vitamin C is degraded -- but I'll explain how EDTA prevents that from happening.
In other words, if you take 1,000 mg of Vitamin C, you get full use of 1,000 mg. However, with everything else remaining the same, if you take 4,000 mg of Vitamin C, you might have only the use of 2,500 mg of Vitamin C. But, the addition of some oral EDTA can make ALL of that 4,000 mg of Vitamin C available. More next month.

Over a period of years the American Heart Association has caused some of the most evil of effects in our society -- putting out lies in the place of truth relative to diet and the causes of heart disease.
Nevertheless, the President of this Association is chosen each year, as a non-paid volunteer leader of this group -- he has little control over it, but he is the figurehead. Now on three different occasions that I have written about, the President of the AHA has blown the whistle on his own Association!

This year another new President "fixes" the fraudulent statistical analysis procedures which last year's president exposed. I had exposed this fraud more than one year ago, but it is only now getting out into the mainstream press.
According to AHA’s President Valentin Fuster, M.D., Ph.D., "The good news is that the new year brings a new formula for compiling death rates for cardiovascular disease that the AHA welcomes. The bad news is that it only reinforces how immense the burden of heart disease and stroke is on the public." Source
The President of the AHA has made another revolutionary statement.
In fact, the President of the American Heart Association says: "Up to half of all coronary artery bypass surgeries fail. In these surgeries, portions of veins are surgically inserted to bypass clogged blood vessels to the heart." Click Here to see that source on my web site.
Black is white and white is black. The world IS changing. There may be some confusion and you can expect that when good people inherit leadership positions in groups that had been "bad" they might try to change things without admitting the error of those earlier years. Dr. Fuster is now the head of the AHA. His quote above may not have been noticed by many, but it is striking fear into the largest medical business in the world -- the business of bypass surgery.
Dr. Fuster MAY be the light of honesty starting to appear in the American Heart Association. I'll keep you posted.

I hate to take up this valuable space on an eMail security issue, but you may have heard about the Melissa virus. It is sent as an attachment to an eMail. The Wednesday Letter has never used an attachment -- and I don't ever expect to add any attachment to the Letter. Here is one description of Melissa from one of the anti-virus programs -- Symantec (click on Symantec to go to the source for this quote):

When a user opens an infected document, the virus will attempt to e-mail a copy of this document to up to 50 other people, using Microsoft Outlook." I routinely do NOT open any attachment in eMails which I receive unless I know the person sending the message. You can see that this Melissa virus fools you into thinking that a message IS from someone you know -- when it is not. My quick solution to that is to not open any attachments, even from someone I know, unless I have some prior knowledge that he or she is sending me a message with an attachment. So, if you write to me, I suggest you not include any attachments. I see that the hacker who created Melissa has been caught! Good!

You would be amazed at how much the medical education of doctors is determined not by text books or professors, but by the people (including nurses and other doctors) they work with on their internships. When a doctor is being honest with you he will tell you that a great deal of his "practice" (as opposed to his knowledge of theory and data) he obtained during his internships, from people who were not formally teaching. Foolish notions and bad practices can spread through a hospital, or region, like a virus -- with no anti-virus program to catch them. |

This is why the number one factor in predicting whether a person will receive bypass surgery, angioplasty or drugs to treat a heart problem is his ZIP CODE! This means that there is no standard of medical diagnosis other than the opinion of the opinion leaders in an area. The new doctors, the junior doctors, take their lead from the leading doctors -- the opinion leaders. Of course, perforce, they generally live and practice in the same zip code area!
Physics and chemistry are not subject to opinions -- they are sciences. Medicine continues to be a "practice" just because there is no standard of health care -- and thus doctors are frightened to death about fancy computer systems which would start keeping track, doctor by doctor, hospital by hospital, of diagnoses, treatments and outcomes. If Dr. John, in Cleveland, standardly uses Drug X for treating something, and Dr. Bill, in Miami, never uses Drug X, but always uses Drug Y, wouldn't you be interested in what are the outcomes of these two different types of treatments?
Yes!
But, the doctors don't want you to know that data.
Why?
Because THEY know that there is no standard. The government is trying to push some standards down their throats with the famous "code book" of medical diagnosis and treatment, but the code book is badly flawed and the doctors resist it furiously.
