Information on Oral EDTA has been deliberately suppressed. The truth is now finally revealed! Dr. Garry F. Gordon is the man who has freed you from this deliberate deception by doctors who should be ashamed of their deeds.

Life Glow Now Includes Oral EDTA

About two months ago, in early March, 1999, I, Karl Loren, made the remarkable announcement that I was reversing my strong claims that "oral EDTA is a fraud" and actually putting EDTA into our famous Life Glow Formula.  You can click on the headline above to read the announcement I published on March 16, 1999.

These ACAM doctors have been the ones I called "the good guys!"  I have received intravenous chelation therapy from many ACAM doctors.  I know many of these doctors as personal friends.  I have been a guest in their homes -- even stayed overnight in a spare bedroom in the homes of several.  When they told me that "oral EDTA is a fraud" I believed them.  I now feel that they have been deliberately misled by the officers of the American College for Advancement in Medicine.  I don't blame my doctor friends.  They have been told lies by their leadership.

Here is what ACAM says about its mission:

A group with these noble goals which then suppresses information about the value of oral EDTA needs correction -- urgently.  If you know, personally, any ACAM member, I urge you to print this page and give it to him -- or better, invite him to come to this web site and click on the revelations about ACAM that are linked to this page.

I would NOT suggest that you avoid intravenous chelation therapy -- not at all.  It is a very valuable medical procedure.  But, I am now willing to suggest that AFTER you have had the urgency of your heart condition handled with intravenous chelation, you can and should start on one of Vibrant Life's oral chelation products.  I/V chelation would be fine if you got it several times every week for the rest of your life -- but that is impractical.  Oral Chelation can be taken daily in place of I/V chelation -- and the ACAM leadership doesn't want the public to know that.

I have seen how that ACAM leadership attacked one of their best members because of his religious affiliation -- it was shameless. He was on his way to becoming one of the Vice Presidents of ACAM -- and generally that has meant that, after a few years in various Vice Presidential positions, he would have become President.  I don't think he would have allowed the organization to suppress the truth about oral EDTA.

I say this much more in sorrow than in anger.  The orthodox medical profession, of course, would and does call both I/V chelation and oral chelation frauds.  So, the ACAM people are at least ahead of that crowd.  If I had to suggest a doctor, I would still suggest you go to an ACAM doctor as being one who would not be as prone to prescribe drugs.

Gordon reveals the suppression of information about the benefits of oral EDTA.  I, Karl Loren, had been the unknowing effect of this suppression when I thought the intravenous chelation medical group was a valid source of information about oral EDTA.  I was wrong!  The truth is now coming out.  The whole world suffers when a group as powerful as the intravenous chelation doctors hide from the public the benefits of oral EDTA -- I seems obvious to me that many chelation doctors have never heard this information and will be angry at their own organization for suppressing it.  I bring you this information to help explain my own change of position on oral EDTA.  I was misled by people I trusted.  I thank Dr. Garry F. Gordon for being willing to "blow the whistle" so that millions of people can now achieve freedom from heart disease by using an oral chelation formula.

EDTA

EDTA stands for "ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid."  It is an artificial amino acid. That means that it does not occur naturally in plants and is not manufactured by the body.  EDTA is one of the most efficient free radical scavengers in existence.  It is considered so safe that it is on the Governments "GRAS" list (Generally Recognized As Safe).  About 90,000,000 pounds of it are used in the US every year -- as a very safe food preservative.  Dr. Gordon estimates that the per capita average intake is  50 to 100 mg per day (taken in with foods).

Because it is an "artificial" amino acid, the body will not absorb it.  When it is used in intravenous chelation therapy it is inserted directly into the veins -- once it is inside, the body  it is remarkably effective in many ways.  The most important thing it does is to "bind to" or stick to, toxic metals.  Once a particle of EDTA is stuck to a piece of toxic metal, the body then treats that combined group as a waste product to be eliminated through the kidney and urine.

Only A Small Amount Is Absorbed Into The Body! But the part NOT absorbed still does wonders for you!

When you take EDTA orally, only about 5% of it will be absorbed.  That 5%, while very tiny in amount, can do you some good, just as an IV treatment would do.  But, the far more important function of ORAL EDTA is to handle free radicals within the stomach and intestine.

After all, you have many toxins and garbage in your stomach -- some of it gets inside the body where it needs to get handled too.  But, there are massive amounts of potentially infective germs and junk in your intestine.  EDTA can  eliminate any toxic metals in the gut.  But, it does far more.  EDTA, while still in the intestine, can actually attract toxic metals from inside the body -- to the wall of the intestine -- the toxic metals are attracted through the intestinal wall, into the EDTA, in the stool, and out into the toilet!

EDTA works wonderfully in conjunction with cysteine.  Cysteine, of course, is fully absorbed into the body -- and helps "unbind" toxic metals which are stuck into various parts of the tissues of the organs -- once these toxic metals are loose in the blood stream they can be attracted by the EDTA to pass through the intestinal wall, stick to the EDTA in the stool and go out into the toilet.  What a wonderful combination!

So, oral EDTA is a magnificent way to handle toxic metals and free radicals in the stomach and gut.  And, it even pulls toxic metals out of the body -- from its position in the gut.

It also helps greatly increase the efficiency of vitamin C.  When a particle of vitamin C meets up with a free radical, the free radical "sticks" to the particle of Vitamin C.  That means that one particle of Vitamin C is "used up" and can't be used for anything else.  It has "degraded."  But, when there is EDTA around, the EDTA "plucks" the free radical out of the Vitamin C -- restoring it to full usage!  This is something I had never heard about until recently.

This means that when you have EDTA in a formula with Vitamin C, you can safely reduce the amount of  Vitamin C -- because the EDTA will allow the Vitamin C to be restored to full use -- several times!  Grape Seed Extract does this also -- very efficiently.

By Pass Surgery

Click on the title to read the remarkable article by the current President of the American Heart Association -- asserting that about 50% of all by pass surgeries are failures.  I tell you that the strangle-hold which the doctors have had on our health is breaking!  Doctors are a scared bunch -- they know that people are seeking alternatives, and finding them. They know that only those who are ignorant of the facts about by pass surgery are seeking that treatment.  The better informed people are using the web to get the truth.

Do you realize that if you enter "bypass surgery" into the AltaVista search engine, at least a few days ago, the Vibrant Life web site comes up in position number one!  This is remarkable -- that I should have more information about bypass surgery than any other place on the Internet.  But, it also happens to be true.  Bypass surgery is being recognized more and more by doctors themselves, as a failure.  I have an entire Chapter on bypass surgery fraud in my Book. Yet, as it is now practiced, its net effect on the nation's health is probably negative. The operation does not cure patients, it is scandalously overused, and its high cost drains resources from other important areas of need.

Fully half of the bypass operations performed in the United States are unnecessary. A decade of scientific study has shown that except in certain well-defined situations, bypass surgery does not save lives or even prevent heart attacks: Among patients who suffer from coronary-artery disease, those who are treated without surgery enjoy the same survival rates as those who undergo open-heart surgery (emphasis added).
