Sometimes you don't realize why doctors won't listen to you. If you knew who they DO listen to you might be more worried than you are.
Doctors tend to have fixed opinions on many subjects, particularly medical subjects. You might say: "Sure, why not? They are the experts!"
But, they learn from the drug companies, and they don't learn preventive medicine. In fact, doctors learn much of their false information from drug detail salesmen and professors who have never treated a patient!

Doctors won't listen to YOU because you don't have the altitude that they demand. Even when you know, for sure, that some alternative health procedure "works" the doctor does not consider you an acceptable source of information on such a subject.

Even Karl Loren Has To Pay A Phone Bill!
For many years Vibrant Life has been operating this mail order vitamin business. Almost all orders were coming in through the toll free phone lines; the Internet is now starting to account for more and more sales.
During this time Vibrant Life has been paying pretty big phone bills, month after month.
Not too long ago we looked over our bill for long distance and discovered that we were paying AT&T more than $ .25 per minute while many companies were offering much better rates.

So, we decided to ignore any further sales calls on this sorry subject.
Until Excel Communications came along, and we discovered that a good friend of ours could get us switched over, save us money, and open our eyes to the new possibilities.
Excel Communications is a multi-billion dollar company. It is now the fourth largest long distance carrier in the US, behind only AT&T, Sprint and MCI. But, you've never heard of them.
They have a simple "dime a minute" rate that has no restrictions and costs only a $1 per month service charge. They have other plans for high-volume customers.
Vibrant Life is quite pleased with the service from this new carrier and we have also joined the ranks of representatives authorized to offer Excel services. Within a few more months this world-wide company will start offering "retail products" like mobile phones, pagers and others -- in many non-US countries.

Health Insurance Guarantees Disease!
First, the costs of medical care are increasing faster than other costs.
Concern over rapid increases in health care spending is reaching a fevered pitch. Rapid growth in expenditures is not new: Spending for health care has grown faster than the overall economy in almost every one of the last 30 years. As a direct result of differential growth, health expenditures have risen as a share of our Nation’s gross national product (GNP), from 5.3 percent in 1960 to 11.6 percent in 1989.

With the impetus imparted by current laws and practices, national health expenditures will rise to $1.6 trillion in the year 2000, an amount equal to 16.4 percent of that year’s GNP.
If costs were going up because we were getting better service, that might be OK, but today many billions of dollars are spent on worthless medical procedures and harmful medications.
The costs are increasing while the quality is decreasing! But, people are often stuck in this terrible trap by insurance, so react to the poor service by trying to get MORE of it!
Thus, the demand for health care is also increasing as well as its cost.
So, as people move into the future, the costs for future health insurance will rise at a far more rapid rate than the costs for Social Security benefits. And, if you think that Social Security is not funded very well, consider the disaster of health care coverage provided by the government and large company insurance programs.
First, government health programs are in serious financial difficulty. The trust fund for the Federal hospital insurance program (better known as Medicare Part A), which derives most of its income from payroll taxes, is currently projected to be exhausted in 2005. Unless additional sources of revenue are tapped, benefits would need to be reduced by $46 billion in that year. Ultimately, the program would need to be cut by more than 50 percent.
Second, private financing of health care is reaching a watershed. Employer payments for health care (including health-related payroll taxes), which amounted to 14 percent of aggregate after-tax profits in 1965, today exceed after-tax profits.
