The Wednesday Letter

Fancy graphics on a web site are a sign of arrogance or ignorance on the part of the Webmaster.  We have some, but I sure hope not too much!

You'll find that our 1,000 page web site is getting more simple, not more "pretty."  In this age of very fast computers and fancy graphics, it is very easy for the sophisticated webmaster to design stuff with high-speed tools and artistry that just can't be perceived by a very large number of browsers.

The Wednesday Letter certainly errs on the side of "too fancy" and I do it with the full knowledge that the "fancy" means I lose many subscribers.  In the grand scheme of things, I pledge to keep the web site clean and simple, but I must admit to indulging my fancy when it comes to The Wednesday Letter.   This letter uses a memory-heavy animated graphic -- and next week, I promise, it will be much faster to load.

But, the above "moving cube" really is an example of the worst in "fancy graphics."  It has nothing to do with anything other than "fancy," and for that reason, you won't see any more of SUCH graphics, even on the Wednesday Letter.

And, the place I stuck that graphic on the web site is now deleted.

So, when you visit other web sites, and found dark backgrounds, fancy graphics, know that you can get angry with reason, and avoid them with logic.

Niacin

This week's technical information concerns the B3 vitamin, called niacin.  You'll find that there are many references to niacin amongst the 1,000 Vibrant Life pages, and that our oral chelation formulas each contain niacin. 

What you may not know is the amazing research that shows how valuable niacin is for heart health.  There is also an amazing amount of "research" that tells you that niacin is a dangerous toxic drug.  You'll find both types of stories on our web site. 

The "small" thing that niacin does is lower cholesterol.  The most important thing it does is to cause a "flush."  That flush is exactly what the drug companies don't want you to know about -- that flush is the key to cleaning all sorts of toxins out of your body.  The "flush" opens up the small blood vessels -- capillaries which are so small that blood can go through them only one cell at a time -- single file.  When you take niacin you can have that flush.  That means the capillaries get large enough for several blood cells to go through -- abreast!

This means that toxins that have been "stuck" in there get cleaned out.

This is very healthy.

Many of the studies falsely claim that the enlargement of the capillaries, accompanied by redness of skin and often an itchy feeling, are bad in themselves.  Then, when those toxins are being cleaned out, the drug-oriented researchers claim that the "cleansing action" is itself harmful.

You see that many researchers can't believe that anything healthy can happen in the body unless some drug is administered.

I have added more than 100 pages about niacin -- much of it is the false claims by drug-paid researchers.

Statistics

The main subject this Wednesday Letter is the new vast array of statistics you can view on our web site.  I've actually added more than 500 pages!

First, for many months we have been using the iLux program to analyze the very detailed files from our host -- those files contain data about EVERY time you visit our site -- every page you visit, how many seconds you stay on any one page, what search engine you arrived by (if you did), what page you entered the site on, and what page you exited from.   There is much more!

Once that data is recorded for each visitor (some 200 times per day, now), it is analyzed and presented in very readable form in the iLux Reports which you can visit by clicking here.

Just in the last week I have added another intense series of reports, from a program called Web Position.  This program goes to dozens of different search engines and automatically enters the various search words and phrases which I've found are already the most commonly used to find Vibrant Life.

The Web Position reports occupy about 25 MB of space!  It actually has taken me more than 30 hours of detailed web design to get this all published.  These hundreds of reports tell us what our listing looks like on each of the many search engines.  It shows us whether we are on page one of those listings, or other page, and what position on that page.

To be in the top position, on page one, of any search engine is a fascinating commentary on a variety of things, including the value of the web site to viewers.   You might just enjoy looking at some of these reports.  I am not likely to leave these pages on the site since they will soon be out-dated and I don't want to take the time to publish the newer reports.  Look while you can.  (The iLux reports will continue to be published.)

Now, why would a person interested in consuming our vitamins be interested in the success or failure of our web site?  Well, for one, you do want to do business with a successful firm.  And, it helps to know that many thousands of others find our pages interesting and useful.

Finally, those web sites which are not doing well would not publicize their comparable statistics, and I suspect that you would probably do better to avoid their products and services when all you see is "pretty pages" with no report on actual results from visits by viewers.
