Karl,
First, I apologize for seemingly having ended my last Email
somewhat abruptly, and without "signing" it. I got side-tracked before I had
finished it, and was horrified that it got into the "sent" box by mistake and
went out without my knowing it! I'm still learning the intricacies of this
"older" computer that was given to me to relieve the congestion on the family
desk top, shared by six of us!
Thank you again, for the samples of "Supportt - MSM" that
you included with my order for the Pure Bulk Powder. I wanted to let you have
my reaction to the former, before writing again.
I found that it seemed to take three heaped teaspoonfuls of
it to have the same effect as two of the latter.
I am very pleased with the Pure Bulk Powder, and find it not
only very effective, but also much more convenient to take than the capsules.
I take one heaped teaspoonful in the morning and one in the evening. If I
would happen to get some pain developing, (on a very rare occasion when I'm
tired, or have been working "overtime"!), I would take a spoonful, with almost
instant relief.
I have found it to be a great help in the healing process
and relief from inflammation. I am prone to thin skin on my legs, as I think I
told you, (being in my 79th year). So taking your tip, I dissolve less than a
1/4 of a teaspoonful of the powder in a teaspoonful of cold water and dab it
gently on my legs each morning, and sometimes at night. (I don't have a
spray). This, (and the intake orally, presumably), has helped to remove all
the inflammation and itch I had on my legs that had surrounded previous breaks
in the skin. It has also taken a lot of the pain and discomfort from a small
toe, and healed a long-time sore "spot" under my big toe, (both of which need
chiropody attention, which proved to be ineffective a couple of months or
so ago.....I plan to see my chiropodist when I go to Ireland in August.)
The current wound on my leg, a tear about an inch and a half
long, (caused by walking too close to the end of my bed a few weeks ago!),
has been healing remarkably quickly in comparison with the previous smaller
tears, that took months to heal, and were surrounded by patches of itchy
inflammation and some pain, until recently, when I began taking MSM for a few
weeks. The inflammation has gone and no pain, and a covering of what I would
describe as "new skin" has developed, so that there has been no further need
to use Band-Aid or whatever, for over a week or so. I use the word
"remarkable" because the flesh was so raw, one wondered if it could ever heal
up.
I also want to tell you that I have been able to reduce the
steroid medication prescribed for "Polymyalgia", from 10mg a few weeks ago, to
7mg, and I hope to come off it altogether soon.
Having said all this, I want to give glory to God. Jesus is
the Divine Healer. He has given us doctors and medication to work along with
Him. People have been praying for me; in particular my granddaughters every
day. We are an unsalaried missionary family, without health insurance, as I
think I told you. I don't have the money for doctors' bills, just my UK
pension, trusting the LORD for all our needs. He is faithful and has given me
faith and wisdom as to how to treat and look after my leg wounds, etc. I
believe He led me to find MSM as being what I need, for which I am so
thankful. He has provided two new hearing aids as a gift, when I wasn't even
considering such a thing. He has just provided the finances for me to go to
Thailand and Ireland, because He told me He wants me to go, and enough to
cover my Daughter-in-law's expenses as well. We have a mighty God and Father,
and it is good to know His Son, Jesus, personally, which makes all the
difference.
