Dear Karl,
A few years ago I was taking MSM for pain. During this period we had a larger than average infestation of Yellow Jackets, a vicious wasp, known to sting with very little provocation.
During a 2 month period, I was stung app. 5 times, the last time being on the lip.
I expected a lot of swelling and pain, but there was very little of either. After the lip sting I was amazed and sure that something I was taking was alleviating the swelling and pain that I was supposed to get.
I went to the internet and did some research on MSM and read that it facilitated the rapid removal of foreign proteins from the system.
Boy did it ever.
I have been a firm believer ever since.
My
fiancé' suffers anaphylactic reactions to bites so she
takes it but has not been stung.
So there we are.
