Rex Accidentally Slices Off The Tip Of His Finger, Re-Attaches It Using MSM -- And It Stays Attached -- And Heals! |
Life is complicated and even describing the aspect to returning a substance to
the food we eat is beyond many people I discuss the benefits of MSM to.
I even show them my finger. About a year ago I was cutting cabbage for
coleslaw on one of the slicers you see on TV. The head of cabbage was too
big to place in the safety holder. I nipped off the tip of my middle
finger.
After having listened to dozens of hours of tapes on the benefits of MSM I
thought I'd try an experiment. It took some time for the bleeding to stop
but when the flow was minimal I dipped my finger into a saucer of MSM crystals
and took the (fully detached) tip of my finger and dipped
it too. There was a little stinging but I simply made a cross of two
ordinary bandages (Band-Aids).
Everyday I would change my bandages after my shower and
carefully clean the area. Before Calm Cream I was using an MSM lotion that
I applied before dressing the wound. That was all I did for six weeks.
Every Tuesday I meet with some people I've known from several years to almost 20
years. Although not normally breakfast fare the discussions usually came
around to the benefits of MSM and my finger injury. Every week I'd show
the progress of the healing process.
To everyone's surprise the separated finger tip reattached all but perfectly.
At the time of the accident I didn't really think it was going to reattach.
My goal was to cushion the finger from being
sensitive. The imperfect reattachment is revealed by close inspection.
I didn't have the presence of mind to realign the finger
print hills and valleys.
For the record: the wound was about the size of a contact lens when injured.
Some top skin eventually peeled off to show the slightly less size of a number 2
wood pencil eraser top.
Dear Rex,
How about a photo, and can I publish your story with your eMail address?
