This is Don Rankin, still alive and kicking. Still taking Life Glow Plus, 10 per day, five in the morning, five in the evening.
About two years ago I had an 8 year check up for my heart surgery. The medical staff was very upset when after they had completed all of their tests, I HAD NO EVIDENCE of coronary artery disease. We had a few pointed words. The most dramatic exchange came from the
Med tech. She was standing there looking at my charts chanting.."It can't be!!...it's impossible." Naturally she got my attention with her litany. I just looked at her in the presence of the cardiologist who had been assigned to me. He had been bombarding me with all sorts of questions regarding the fact that I still take NO prescription medications. For every suggestion he would offer, I simply responded with the research data from some of the leading medical schools as to why I chose not to use this or that particular product. Needless to say he was already unhappy with me.
So when the med tech burst into the room, it just added to the show. There she stood with her mouth hanging open. I asked her why she was so surprised ? Her response was telling. She replied, "I've got your chart, I know what we did to you eight years ago!" "These new tests clearly demonstrate that you have NO blockage in any artery in your body!" THAT IS TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!
I very calmly replied that I supposed that she expected me to be no better and eight years closer to death. In a slow sort of way she responded nodding her head while saying in an uncertain and somewhat weak voice, "well, yes." I should have shut up at that point but by now I couldn't resist. I told her in a kindly fashion, "Well, Dear, I don't follow your protocol because it will kill you nor do I take your meds because they are poisonous. That is why I am recovered! "
The cardiologist slinked out of the room, not a word passed his lips. The med tech stamped her feet and left in an angry huff. I put my clothes on and said, "Well congratulations, Don, on your progress. You've done well!" I left the hospital feeling a little sadness. Here I was, if I believed the reaction of the medical folks, a walking miracle. Yet my miracle received no praise, no joy over my body's ability to heal itself. All I got was anger and hostility. There was no love in that room that day. It is sad that our society has come to this. I think of the dear souls who refuse to take personal responsibility and blindly follow the advice of a person in a white coat with a stethoscope. I do believe that good dedicated health care workers exist. However, I do believe that many of them have been trained with erroneous information.
