On Oral Chelation

horizontal rule

Dear Karl,

I've tried oral chelation products, -- two I ordered were in large tablets that we choked on.  Neither my husband nor myself can swallow such.

Recently I bought Chelo Garde2, from Healthier You.  It contains 4000 mgs Ascorbic Acid, 393 mg Magnesium 86 mg Potassium, 80 mgs EDTA, 29 mgs Zinc, 4 mg Manganese and .027 mcg Selenium.

When I gave us the full teaspoon each, we both had diarrhea.  After eliminating other items, I determined it was from the oral chelation product.  Diarrhea that lasts for weeks can be very debilitating.

Lately I received literature on Oral Chelation and your name was mentioned. I perked up, because years ago when we lived in California I had contact with you.

I sent for 450 tablets of the smaller size -- Life Glow Easy, #328.  They haven't arrived yet.  I hope that they won't cause the same problem as the others and that we can swallow them.

We've used vitamin supplements since 1959, when I first started studying natural health methods.

Today I am 78, my birthday.  In  20 days my husband will be 85.

We don't seem to have any specific disease, but are constantly tired, and slow at everything.  A few years ago we each had two intravenous chelations, but they are $100 a piece and we can't afford much of that.

As a notch baby I get the miniscule sum of $383 a month from SS.  Dick gets more, but we are still below what is considered the poverty level.

I've had three falls, one of which required an implant of my left shoulder ball, and a rod in the arm below that.  I no longer can raise my left arm high enough to get things off the shelves.

Both of us have been dizzy and my husband has been so dizzy that he fell twice in the last month.  He has an appointment with an ear doctor later this month.  he's sitting in a chair in the living room, feeling dizzy now.  We ate oatmeal, skim milk & banana, & Chelo Garde.

We are both young at heart and hoping to revive our bodies.  I write a humor column for the local senior magazine.  Will enclose one.

We do have a nice medical doctor here at Lovelace, an older German man whom we love, but medications don't seem to agree with us.

My health books say dizziness could be from Hypoglycemia, (which we both have), high blood pressure, or narrowed arteries.  There may be more causes.

I don't know how e can take 30 tablets a day.  We'll see.

Do you think we should try a couple more intravenous chelations a piece?

At the end of the month we have an appointment with our medical MD and with an ear doctor.  This is a small high-desert town, about 70,000 when the University is full.   We're limited in the number of doctors and the types of practice, and usually have a three to four or more week wait to get to see one.

If you've read thus far -- you need a rest.

I shouldn't bore anyone with our problems, I know.

But, if anyone might have information or insight into what will help us, it would be you.

Do read my humor column -- it may revive you!

We all need chuckles and laughter, and since it comes easy to me, I try to cheer up other seniors.

My best regards to you and yours.

Sincerely,

PS:  No smoking, alcohol, or coffee.  We do drink milk -- my husband drinks skim milk.  I drink some goat milk alternated with soy mild.

No way to get raw milk here as we did in California from Altadena.

If we can tolerate the Life Glow Easy and are able to swallow them, then I'll get the kit with all your information in it, and be able to get the 25% discount.

we do better with capsules than tablets, but all are chores to get down if large.

Dear Eleanor,

Yours is exactly the kind of letter I love to receive.  It is full of news that is important to YOU.  I am proud to have the image that people feel comfortable in just telling me their personal news!

So, did you know me when I was a radio talk show host on KIEV for six hours every night -- five nights per week?

Your question about whether you should get more Intravenous Chelation treatments?   It really is a matter of money.

I recommend BOTH oral chelation and I/V chelation.

And that Chelo Garde product you had was a fraud.  There was no cysteine in it, and therefore it is NOT oral chelation.  The EDTA in that formula is used to trick you into thinking you have real oral chelation when only the amino acid, cysteine, does the job.

I hope you didn't pay much for that stuff!

I liked your humor page -- do you write that often?

For others:

Alec Sleezie, a weird-looking kid, was so unpopular that his mother had to tie a pork chop around his neck so the dog would play with him.

I'll repeat that this week.

Have you heard about the sandwich that walked into a bar and the bartender said:   "We don't serve food in here."

And, I see that you are an ex-vaudeville comedienne!!! Tell me about that.

My biggest interest, now, Eleanor, is to hear back from you soon -- about the results you get with Life Glow Easy.

I've taken the liberty of publishing your entire letter on my Internet Site and there could be thousands of people reading about you!  Is that OK?

Love,

Karl
