I thought you might be interested in my sons progress since i found out about DMG via the internet.
Great Britain does not acknowledge DMG at all, and it has been a great struggle for me to get the product. Anyway, i first heard about DMG, not as DMG, but as vitamin b15.
I read about it in a medical book called the Handbook of Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders-By Cohen and Donnellan.
(A British book, that i could only borrow for a week as it was on constant recall from the British medical Library up in London) It took me 7 years to find out about DMG mainly as i had no internet access, (the world changed for us when internet became the norm for everybody) and no English doctor had even heard of B15, or so they claimed.
So it was down to me, and we found it 18 months ago. I had to get a friend to order it as i had no credit card at the time, we found a website called mountain naturals, they were great about sending it over to us, i ordered a years supply.
The worse was yet to come. It only cost us about 100 English pounds for a whole years supply and postage, which was great, but getting it into this country was a farce.
Once the parcel arrived, England with all it's rules and regulations charged me 46 English pounds for airport duties, tax, royal mail, before i could receive the parcel, nearly half what we paid for the tablets.
(I have tried all sorts of ways to get the tablet in to the country to no avail, nobody will budge-have to pay the duties no matter what)
After the fiasco of getting the tablets, my son who is now 11 is doing great.
He is out of nappies 3 months after taking DMG, speech has come on 20fold, school are absolutly amazed with him.
He interacts, plays together with the other kids. Asks questions, answers questions even answers the phone. We were stunned.
I have too much to write i could go on for ever, i just feel it's a shame i had to waste time and space telling you about the story of us finding DMG, but i feel it is something you should know, America is so much more advanced in its care for its people.
England let us down. You cannot tell me that nobody knew what it was I wanted to try.
Cheap and with no side affects.
If I was of any power whatsoever i would love to blow the lid on things like this, but unfortunatly i have to quell my feelings and revel in my triumph of succeding in finding and producing the goods my son needed for myuself.

Dear Karl,
I follow up my last letter to you with some more details of my sons achievements and the dosage he is on (DMG).
But firstly, yes I would be happy for you to add in my email address.
When we finally received the DMG I started Charlie off on 2 tablets a day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. (I also took them too, as you can imagine I knew absolutely nothing of DMG, I didn't want my son to be having anything I was not sure about).
We did notice a very slight change in speech fairly soon after taking this amount, he began to talk in proper strung together sentences, but only in a whisper.
No change in excretia at this stage.
A month on and I upped his dose to 3 a day (I stopped taking at this stage, knowing them to be safe).
Remarkable changes took places now. Speech was amazing, teachers began writing home from school saying how he was interacting wonderfully with the other kids, and speaking freely to them asking questions and giving answers.
They devised a small wheel for him out of card, and drew lines on it dividing it into 3 sections, each with a face on, (small dot for lips, means soft speech-ie not loud) another face (bigger dot-normal) and a last face (huge dot-loud).
This worked wonders, got him off the whispering. A final very important stage of change for us was the best.
Roughly 3 months into taking tablets (yes I am guilty of not taking note of timings) Charlie overcame his fear of excreting in the toilet, I sat him down and promised him a present if he "did his poo's in the toilet" (he was 10 years old at this stage and still in nappies) and hey presto, nappies no more from that day on, and no accidents at all.
That meant a lot to me, I felt Charley's embarrassment for him, plus it's hard work having to change nappies on bigger kids.
He ran around for weeks yelling "NO MORE NAPPIES" to anybody and everybody that came in the door. Like i said in my last letter, i could go on writing and writing all day about the changes DMG has made but i won't.
I'd like to end on a brief note of another DMG success. A friend of mine who has a son with Soto's Syndrome-speech and language delay and Nocturnal Euresis being but 2 of the symptons.
Within Days of taking 3 tablets a day he has become DRY AT NIGHT. As all parents with children like ours will know, this means a huge burden has vanished over night and you can actually plan to do things and go places without to much effort.

What a wonderful story -- hope is so rare for these situations, and you describe far more than hope -- you describe success!
Did you have ANY other change in his diet, or whatever, at the time you started the DMG?
I assume you believe that it was the DMG, only, that caused these changes, but the data would be important for others -- who wonder if "something else" might be responsible.
Where did you buy your DMG? (You realize that I only sell it in bulk, not retail packages.) At L100 for one year, at three tablets per day, or 1000 tablets, your supply started with a cost of L1 (one pound) for 10 tablets. If the pound is about $1.50 US (??) that would make your capsules cost you about US$0.15 each? That is not a very high price by US standards.

Note about using DMG for horses
DMG - DIMETHYL GLYCINE.
The Chemical name is N,N-DIMETHYL GLYCINE. [DMG]
As the material is extremely Hygroscopic, it is produced finally as DIMETHYL GLYCINE HYDROCHLORIDE. [DMGH]
The process of Hydrochlorination reduces the Hygroscopicity but changes its taste from Sweet DMG to Sour DMG.HCl.
