There are several manufacturing plants in the world capable of making MSM.
The factory from which we obtain our MSM, and from which we have the exclusive license for the US and Canada, has a patent-pending process which, on best search basis, does not exist anywhere else on the planet.
Even a simple description of this process could trigger competitive research and development of the process. Thus, the technical process is not offered on these public pages.
The only comment on these differences here is that all other known manufacturing processes involve a large number of steps, steps which further increase the purity of the product from the earlier step. This factory has a proprietary process, patent-pending, whereby there is ONLY ONE step from raw materials to the final product, at 99.98% purity. Since each of the many purification steps in orthodox manufacture of MSM takes considerable energy, water and time, these processes are inherently costly compared to the source from which B&B obtains MSM to handle its exclusive license for the US and Canada.
