Our First Sample Shipment of MSM is expected to arrive in January 1999, and shipments will be made at that time, on a first-come first-serve basis. The second shipment, one full metric ton, will arrive in February 1999. |
| January 6, 1999 |
|
| January 10, 1999 | Our first shipment was so successfully sold out that, despite the high cost for air cargo, we now expect to get another shipment by air. This should arrive by January 20th. |

New Exciting News! B & B International has, today, been appointed as the Master Agent for virtually the entire world, for MSM from our factory in India. Furthermore, we have made arrangements with a Freight Forwarding firm to handle shipments for customers outside of the US. Our agent, or yours. You can now have this product shipped from India (point of origin), or from the US inventory, buying from B & B and having either our Freight Forwarder or yours handle the shipment. All payments for product will go to B&B. We can arrange for payment to be received outside the US if you prefer. |
| January 11, 1999 | In addition to the news above, we have been granted the license to represent this same factory for one additional item. You will soon find a great deal of information on this web site (perhaps a second site?) about DMG. More coming on this. |
| January 11, 1999 | Price Increase
When we have a quantity of MSM to be shipped direct from India to your location, either with your shipping agent or ours, we will now add a $50 flat fee for additional administrative costs to handle one such shipment. This is in addition to the actual shipping costs. This will be relatively expensive for someone who wants one drum of 25 KG direct from India, but insignificant for the customer who gets 5 tons delivered to his location, in or outside the US, direct from India |
| January 11, 1999 | Location! The name of our factory will continue to be held in confidence, but it is now clear that the location is within India. |
| January 11, 1999 | Certificate Of Analysis We have received the Certificate of Analysis for the recent shipment of MSM received here. Within a day or so the entire three-page certificate will be published on this site. It is very impressive. The "purity" can be seen to be 100% -- a remarkable level compared to any other source of MSM, and obtainable because of a proprietary and patent-pending manufacturing process. |
| January 11, 1999 | Quota Confirmed! B & B has undertaken to sell 500 Metric Tons of MSM during its first 12 months representing this factory. We expect to become the world leader on the production and sale of this product. |
| January 11, 1999 | Click Here See some slight new information about the identity of the factory. |
| January 11, 1999 | International Outlets We have a new customer in Australia. When that shipment is finalized we will be listing them on this web site, as well as others in non-US countries, so that web browsers can buy direct from them if they wish. |
| January 11, 1999 | The Actual Certificate Of Analysis Is Now Published Click Here To Read Note: The purity shows at 100.000% (three decimal points) with the only material in addition to pure MSM is a very small amount of moisture. |

Our first commercial shipment
has left the factory in India, by air, to be delivered to our warehouse in the
Los Angeles area -- TODAY! Today, Tuesday, one ton of MSM is on its way. We have several orders awaiting arrival. Most customers are getting sample quantities, such as 25 KG or, in one case, 100 KG. As announced, this shipment consists of 40 drums, each containing 25 KG, twenty in one-kilogram bags and twenty more drums of it in 25-KG bags. |
| January 19, 1999 | The prices on the price page are "official" but as mentioned, are subject to change without notice. You can get a firm price for any amount of future delivery quantity. Prices will go up as soon as we are convinced that the next best price to ours shows to be substantially higher. Buy now while the price is stable |
| January 20, 1999 | New News About To Be Released Here On The TASTE of MSM. If your MSM tastes GOOD, it may be BAD! More coming soon on this, and also about "Ice" and "Snow" Click Here to read that information. |
| January 27, 1999 | One Ton Of MSM Is NOW in our warehouse in Burbank. Orders taken in the last couple weeks will be shipped out as soon as we get final customs clearance. |
| January 27, 1999 | Amazing! We got the merchandise even without final customs clearance. The customs clerk inspects the shipment but does not "approve" it. He sends the inspection report to his boss for approval. That takes a day or two. In the mean time, if the shipment is being handled by a well-known broker, the merchandise is allowed to be taken from customs (to avoid storage charges and to allow handling at the destination). The receiving company is told to NOT dispose of any of the merchandise even though it is in his warehouse -- until final customs approval is received -- usually a day or two! |

| February 2, 1999 | B&B International today completed an
agreement with UPS for international shipments of small amounts of MSM
(under 50 KGs). This agreement provides for shipping rates which are
competitive with US Post Office Express Mail, but offers delivery usually
within ONE DAY to most countries on the planet.
We have normally been using US Post Office Express Mail for our international shipments and now expect to switch to UPS. The UPS service provides an immediate tracking number which either we or the customer can use to check on the exact status of the shipment -- check on the web. Also, UPS informs us that they have their own customs clearance people and can give us (or you, the customer) immediate information if there is any delay in customs. |

| March 1, 1999 | The first ocean
shipment is now on its way
B&B's first ton of MSM was shipped by air to get a fast start. We are now ready for "regular" commerce with the next ton being shipped by ocean freight. It will take about 6 weeks to arrive. In the mean time we probably will sell out the entire existing stock before the ocean shipment arrives. Don't be caught short -- order now. See next announcement |
| March 1, 1999 | B&B Announces its intentions to appoint regional stocking distributors. Such distributors will receive MSM direct from India under our exclusive license. Please inquire. |
| March 1, 1999 | Lower Prices
Possible!
Our prices are currently based on our importation of small quantities -- one to five tons at one time in relatively expensive air-tight 25 KG drums. When we can import a full ocean freight container (about 30 tons) and use 50 KG inexpensive bags instead of drums, we will be able to lower selling prices. This will mostly impact on the large users and animal feed market (as far as bags are concerned). You will probably see "domestic" MSM sources lowering their prices. We will continue to meet and beat any of them. We do not anticipate lowering the prices for small quantities (under one ton). |
| March 1, 1999 | Confidentiality!
B&B has published more information about its activities and policies than any other bulk nutrient supplier in history. You should realize that we are now entering a period when some of the information which had been openly provided (shipping dates and quantities, for instance) is no longer going to be provided. |
| March 1, 1999 | Other Materials
Several manufacturers of other substances have been reviewing our "wave of the future" approach to marketing bulk materials and B&B is now negotiating exclusive agreements for other materials. It will be months, not days, before we announce details on these arrangements. |
| March 10, 1999 | Well We Sometimes Make Mistakes! When we tried to figure out how much of our first shipment should be in one-kilogram bags and how much in 25-KG bags, I think, now, we made a mistake. We are selling lots of one-KG bags. We MUST sell tons to make our business successful. I think it will come! But, I think we will run out of one-KG bags before the boat comes in! (We have another ton on the ocean right now!) We have only sold a few of our 25-KG drums (25 KG in one bag). SO!I'm announcing a temporary, one-time discount of 10% on all MSM purchases of 25 KG in a drum. If you can use 25 KG, in one bag, this is a good deal. This offer will continue only until we get the next ocean shipment in (probably about April 20th). That shipment contains a larger proportion of one-KG bags. The 25-KG bag now sells at $19 per KG. There is now a temporary discount of 10%, making the 25 KG drum $17.10 per KG until the boat comes in. All larger quantities are also discounted 10%, until the boat comes in. Do NOT expect this discount to continue past the arrival of our next shipment. |
| March 21, 1999 | The news about the ship leaving India was premature. The factory is automating their bag-filling process and that has taken extra time to set up. But, future shipments will be faster because the filling of one-kilogram bags can now be automated. |
