This Miracle Ball Eliminates Any Need For Laundry Soap -- Permanently -- MLM Fraud
There are SO many fraudulent MLMs and there are SO many people who write to me, with all earnestness, that they want me to join, under them, on this new miracle. I tire of exposing them all, but I do some, now and then, as I feel inclined.
Here is another.
How about YOUR question here?

KARL,
I KNOW YOU HATE MLM'S BUT I ALSO HAVE A LOT OF FAITH IN YOUR PRODUCTS AS AM STILL TAKING LIFE GLOW BASIC AND THE MSM, BUT THIS TESTIMONY AND PRODUCT, MIRACLE 2, IS EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS IT IS.
SEE: http://www.ncpmiracle2.com/
I VENTURE TO SAY IF YOU EVER USE IT YOU WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE NOR WILL YOUR FAMILY AND IF YOU WANT I WILL SEND YOU SOME SAMPLES.
I ALSO HAVE THE UTMOST CONFIDENCE IN YOUR RESEARCH SO THANKS FOR THE INFO ON BIO CHOICE.
Bob
Dear Bob,
I get many letters like yours, from people who have obviously become enamored of this or that "new miracle product" and I usually just don't take the time to research them.
Sometimes I do.
When I do I usually build up anger about how some people can work so hard to deceive others, and never apparently even be aware that they are doing it. It gives me pause to think about this more, so I'll try to work harder at understanding what motivates people (you?) to be so excited and convinced by something like "Miracle 2."
First, let's look at the product, with data taken from their web page.
Here is the home page, with each of the products shown, linked (on the home web page) to further information. (Those links don't work here.)

I clicked on the top item -- some sort of "ball?"
and found this:
| Click here for suggested product uses. |

![]() |
| This is a rubber ball
impregnated with eloptically-energized Miracle II Soap.
This laundry ball keeps on working to leave your clothes and linens clean, fresh, energized and free of chemical residuals. Many suffer irritations or sensitivities that are caused by unidentified sources. In many cases the source is the residual detergents, fragrances, softening agents and chlorine remaining in clothes after washing and drying. Do you know what many laundry detergents, herbicides, insecticides, and nerve gas all have in common? They are all different forms of organo-phosphates. What will neutralize these deadly compounds? Miracle II Products! Did you know that bleach is a strong oxidizing agent that will leave a residue in your clothes? Did you know that peroxide will bleach your clothes without leaving a residue? So what is the only product you can use that will clean your clothes, neutralize and remove residuals, and counter the health-robbing effects of synthetic fabrics? Miracle II Laundry Ball, Soap and Neutralizer. You need no other cleaning products when you use Miracle II products and the Miracle II Laundry Ball. You can do all your laundry for about $1.67 per month - for the next 3 years. After 3 years, it's free! We don't know how long it will last - maybe the rest of your life. Now that's a bargain! We have no way of knowing how long the plastic ball will last. We do know, however, that the cleaning energy inside the ball will last for the rest of your life. Washing your clothes this way is a Miracle for the whole family, especially the ones with chemically-sensitive skin and allergies.
God is the only one who could do something to water so we could have a perfect natural solution for cleaning our clothes without using soaps and detergents and no need for static and fabric softener. Two hundred and nine spikes are on the Miracle II Laundry Ball. They are specially designed to gently scrub and massage your clothes with loving care as it bobs around in your washing machine. I suggest you use Miracle II Soap to pre-treat stains. For clothes with grease on them, use a half ounce of the green Miracle II Soap with the Miracle II Laundry Ball. If you insist on using bleaches and detergents, you can cut back to 25% of the volume, saving you 75% of the cost! Bleach will not hurt the Miracle II Laundry Ball. If you want whites really white, use about 1 cup of vinegar with one ounce of the green Miracle II Soap and the Miracle II Laundry Ball. Some stains simply will not come out - this is a simple fact. Even with this in mind, use the Miracle II Laundry Ball along with the Miracle II Soap and 99.99% of your stains and dirt will be removed.
" 3 year free replacement (with a shipping charge of
$5) if the plastic fails
" When the Miracle II Laundry Ball is not in the
washer, you will find yourself wanting to squeeze it, pitch it from hand to
hand and roll it on your body. Have fun with this product.
People roll the ball around on places that hurt and over the skin and under the feet to massage the 15 feet of blood vessels under each square inch of the skin. The pores of the skin and the millions of electrical cells that are in the body will benefit from this. Just roll the Miracle II ball over your skin and scalp with a little gel and you will know that this is a miraculous and supernatural product.
|
Now I see that at least one of these products is a substitute for soap, or something like that.
Without reading ANY of their material what do I already know? One of my children, years ago, joined some MLM that had a "ball" that included NO soap, but could be used repeatedly in a washing machine.
I tried it.
It did not work, of course, or perhaps more accurately, I realized that soap had very little to do with "cleaning" of cloths in the washer. The water does virtually all of the work. Soap? That is mostly a promotional item -- sold to you by Procter and Gamble, or one of the others.
If you don't believe me, take any 95% of your clothing and put in the washer with NO soap and you will find that it comes out looking quite clean.
There is an obvious function for "soap" to dissolve oils and there will be some dirt on clothing that may not come out with just plain water -- so even the non-soap people have to give you something for these few pieces, and find some way to explain why their non-soap ball needs help.
The non-soap ball? It is where the deception lies. The plain water will do the job, with no ball, but you can't sell that data for any money. So, you invent some false science, that "these" balls are especially designed, and patented (??), so that the action of the washer "creates a standing ultrasound wave like interaction among the molecules and they resonate to that frequency, which is inherently different from the frequency of the clothing, and the two just gently disengage."
I have composed this, deliberately, in "psychobabble." Psychobabble is the use of words that each has a regular dictionary meaning, but when put together have no logical meaning in the context. In other words this quoted material is nonsense -- psychobabble.
Now, I've written all of this before I even looked at the first line of text in the page.
Let me see how accurate my guess has been?
The first thing I found is this phrase:
eloptically-energized Miracle II Soap.
I can understand "soap" but "eloptically" is a word I do not recognize.
Google may not be the last word in finding
definitions, but it is a good start. Here is what I found:

So, right away I know that they are using some word that has no usual dictionary meaning -- this is what psychobabble does -- it invents nonsensical words and puts "good" words into nonsensical phrases and lines.
Whatever may be implied by eloptically-energized Miracle II Soap certainly has no meaning to anyone but those who invented the term. Perhaps it will be defined further along?
The next line is neutral, not deceptive on its face:
This laundry ball keeps on working to leave your clothes and linens clean, fresh, energized and free of chemical residuals.
The question here is how long is this "ball" going to "continue to work" without changing???
Here is a section that does not say anything unusual, but you know what is coming.
These statements may be true, may not be true, but they are being used as a "straw man" to set you up for the next line which is a predictable as a $6.00 bill in a con man.
What will neutralize these deadly compounds? Miracle II Products!
The truth here is that plain water will neutralize these "deadly" compounds.
Here is where more deception appears. You fall into the trap of thinking that "plain water" will not clean clothes, so you try the Miracle Ball, and "it" cleans the clothes. Well, of course, it doesn't. But, you must now add an infectious greed on your part -- a willingness to make money without working, and all you have to do is believe this false science, and then sell this false science to others -- to make your millions.
You get very sincere, write to Karl Loren, and hope that if HE will get involved in YOUR downline, you will be able to retire rich -- soon.
This story moves along with more "science."
Did you know that bleach is a strong oxidizing agent that will leave a residue in your clothes? Did you know that peroxide will bleach your clothes without leaving a residue?
Well, I'm certainly familiar with "hydrogen peroxide" and know it is something I can safely use on my body, even, with care, inside my body.
I don't happen to know about this residue stuff, but I think I can research this easily.
First, how much does hydrogen peroxide cost, and how much does bleach cost?
No "scientific test," at all, but a benchmark: My bottle of hydrogen peroxide in my bathroom is not price-marked, so on the web I found it at $55 for one gallon, 35%, food grade.
Bleach? The bottle in my laundry room, one gallon, is marked --- oops! No price marked. On the web at this price:
On a recent Sunday at Stop & Shop, a gallon of Clorox bleach was $1.29 for the regular customer, 88 cents for the Stop & Shop cardholder. A box of granola went from $2.99 to $2.50 with the card; a cucumber went from 59 cents to 34 cents.
Probably someone would say you don't need "food grade" or that Clorox usually costs more?
In any event, the Miracle Ball II special stuff is $55 per gallon versus Clorox at $1.00 or so -- fifty five times more for the special stuff from Miracle Ball2.
Is Clorox so dangerous as to pay 55 times more than the alternative.
At this point I might forget the balls, use plain water and, if I really worried about Clorox, look at alternatives such as Hydrogen Peroxide.
Let's see what else these people claim.
Here is the outlandish claim:
You need no other cleaning products when you use Miracle II products and the Miracle II Laundry Ball. You can do all your laundry for about $1.67 per month - for the next 3 years. After 3 years, it's free! We don't know how long it will last - maybe the rest of your life. Now that's a bargain! We have no way of knowing how long the plastic ball will last. We do know, however, that the cleaning energy inside the ball will last for the rest of your life. Washing your clothes this way is a Miracle for the whole family, especially the ones with chemically-sensitive skin and allergies.
So, not taking any need for hydrogen peroxide into account, if you "depreciate" your Miracle II Ball over three years, it costs $1.67 per month, and zero after that.
That suggests that 36 months (three years) times $1.67 is the cost of these balls??
That would be about $60 for the balls?
Do you suppose water, alone, with occasional bleach, would do the same?
Before I would spend $60 on a probably fraud, I would certainly try washing my clothes with hot water only -- see what happens. After all, what an easy test. If the clothes come out dingy? They buy the balls.
What is the "science" behind this? The ultimate mystery is, simply, to say that God causes this!
God is the only one who could do something to water so we could have a perfect natural solution for cleaning our clothes without using soaps and detergents and no need for static and fabric softener.
Well, surely we don't pray over the washing machine??
Now, how about a bit more mystery?
People roll the ball around on places that hurt and over the skin and under the feet to massage the 15 feet of blood vessels under each square inch of the skin. The pores of the skin and the millions of electrical cells that are in the body will benefit from this. Just roll the Miracle II ball over your skin and scalp with a little gel and you will know that this is a miraculous and supernatural product.
That should do it.
You see, here, absolutely no scientific explanation of why you don't need soap, or why this will do the work of soap, and no hint that perhaps soap is not needed at all.
There are many claims of dangers to your health from using soap and regular bleach. The implication that these health problems will be solved by using Miracle Ball II. The small print (below) makes it clear that the company makes no health claims of any type.

It is not worth my time to figure, figure what could be earned. But, I'll bet an enthusiastic distributor could show you how you would be earning $15,000 per week, in short order.
In fact, studies show that the average person who joins an MLM and stays "active" in it for 6 months or more, earns about $15.44 per week, for putting in about 10 hours attending meetings and making calls. He earns, in other words, about $1.54 per hour for the time spent.
That's about it.
However, he has spent $168 to get into the business.
Assuming that laundry will get clean without the balls? Then he wouldn't have to buy more balls, and would have clean laundry for a long time -- and all during this time he would be enthusiastically selling a fraud.
Eventually, one or a dozen people question whether water alone will work, and the distributor gets tired of the deal. He may have made his money back, but studies show that the average person in an MLM where he remains active (as above) for six months or more, sponsors three others, at the most, who stay active for six months. They show, also that the distributor (six months active) sponsors up to 20 people, but that almost all drop out, leaving not more than 3 active who are there for six months.
So, total earnings are at that range of $1.54 per hour, no matter what.
There are a tiny number at the top who make $15,000 per week -- usually picked as friends of the owners of the Company (who, graciously refrain from getting into the downline).

In this case the fraud of this "opportunity" was easy to see. The warning signs are easy. You find claims written in psychobabble. You find a "scientific miracle" that has no science, other than, perhaps, God, as the explanation.
You'll find testimonials in large numbers because the suckers who are selling this idea, even though they make no money in the process, have to believe in it or they would quit before they start.
So, the pump themselves up, and turn on the charm towards others -- usually their few friends and family who have not yet been suckered by them with some other MLM fad.
MLM'ers are often called MLM Junkies -- they go from one MLM to another, to another, and they are always very enthusiastic about THIS one!
Do you want to test this? Do your next load of simple laundry (sheets, towels, relatively clean underwear) with hot water only. See what happens. If they are a bit dirtier? Throw in some bleach, and no soap.
What happened.
I'd like to know.
Now, let me go further.
We live in a tough economy, where people work a 40 hour week and see that they are not getting ahead. Every year they make a bit more money, but their debt rises even more. After some years they realize that they are not going to achieve the dreams they had when they were young.
I could go on, but this stuff comes down.
You start hearing about the guys who make money without working for it -- it is that group in our society who believe there IS a free lunch.
At last election it appeared to me that there were roughly half of all voters who believed that they should be given more of a hand-out, more government money, because they deserved it.
These are the people who believe that the rich are rich because they cheat, somehow. No matter what they figure, they spend their time figuring out how to make money without working for it -- whether government hand-outs or some MLM.
They tend, also, to be functionally illiterate.
The read a headline like this:
This is a rubber ball impregnated with eloptically-energized Miracle II Soap.
The bigger the print the more real it seems. Again, the word "eloptically" has no possible meaning -- it is cleverly used to manipulate you into a state of being hypnotic, and ready to believe whatever follows.
There is no person who can find the meaning of this statement, using any standard dictionary.
This statement is NOT INTENDED to have any meaning.
What happens to a person who goes by some words he doesn't understand? He goes mentally blank, and whatever follows it will not be understood either. He can then actually become "hypnotic" and ready to accept as true whatever follows, even though he does not understand it.
"BUY" is plain -- he buys!
He is then "convinced" by emotion, only, not the logic of science.
So, the emotion at the time is "greed" and he has that in large quantities.
So, the greed pushes him to accept completely nonsensical claims.
Once he buys, he can never admit that he made a mistake. So, he "discovers" that this stuff is a miracle -- it works, and he buys extra balls to GIVE to people who will try it. If he gives the ball to someone who can actually read, and that person reads the claims, he will probably be polite and beg off for some nice reason -- he may buy some balls because he feels sorry for the sucker, but he certainly won't get involved in the MLM unless he, too, is functionally illiterate, accepts nonsense for science, and has the emotion of infectious greed.
He will sign up, pay, and lose.
After some number of these losses, the sponsor will give up.
That is why these MLM companies hardly ever stick around for more than a couple years.
Miracle Ball II? How old?
The idea, of course, is an old one -- it resurfaces from time to time.
A careful search of the web site, then the entire web, shows no history of any sort.
You figure!

DEAR KARL,
I AM SERIOUS, IT IS FOR REAL,
WE WILL NOT EVEN PURCHASE SOAP OF ANY KIND MADE WITH DEAD ANIMAL LARD, AND THE GOVERNMENT AND THE COLLEGE OF LOUISIANA CHECKED IT AND FOUND IF THE MIRACLE 2 NEUTRILIZER WAS ADMINISTERED INTO THE WOUND WITHIN 30 MIN. Dear Bob,
I did not say it did not work. I said it was a fraud.
You could not possibly have read my page?
You are making claims for this product which would make the company shudder.
I am not interested in disproving this further, but I can assure you that no reputable school or laboratory will "report" that cobra strike venom can be neutralized with this ball.
That is a false report -- you either believe lies or you accept truth.

i did not say the laundry ball had anything to do with the venom but said that the "neutrilizer" which is a product of miracle 2. and the laundry ball does work doing the laundry and i am sorry if i offended you, so please forgive me, all of these reports are on file and copies are available end of conversation. bob
Bob,
You don't offend me.
You illustrate exactly how many MLMs sucker people in, and for that I thank you, but for your own future survival, you should learn more about the impact on your life of ignoring words you don't understand when you read.

Dear Karl,
talk about not understanding, you have not understood a thing i wrote to you about. the only thing i said about the laundry ball is that it works at doing the laundry. The other product that i mentioned was the "neutrilizer". that is just 2 products. I also said that I know it works as we are using it, in fact the whole family is and being a follower of JESUS i do not lie and neither do they.
I have 3 of my children using your products and i do not lie about yours either, it's either good or it's trash. sorry to have been misunderstood.

Dear Bob,
The neutralizer is, per this same company, apparently nothing more than a dilute form of hydrogen peroxide. They don't say this, but they do mention "peroxide" (above).
They sell 22 ounces for $16.00. Since they don't say what it is?? You have to guess. If it is the hydrogen peroxide? then you could not take even the 35% strength into your mouth, but would have to dilute it. The suggested uses say you can swallow this stuff "full strength."
Their web says they "offer" a "material safety data sheet" as follows:
Don’t be afraid to personally experiment with the products. You are using products that have no harmful chemicals in them. Information listed in the brochure Telling The Good News is based on people’s personal testimonies. Feel free to create your own testimony. We offer a Material Safety Data Sheet completed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration stating that the Miracle II Soap and Neutralizer products are biodegradable and contain no dangerous chemicals.
However, they do not tell what this stuff is.
Here is what the Company says:
| Miracle II Neutralizer (22 oz) also available in gallon size | |||||||||||||||||||||
![]() |
Miracle II Neutralizer is formulated with eloptically-energized water containing a mixture of organic minerals. When taken internally on a daily basis, the Neutralizer helps to detoxify the blood stream and create that critical acid-alkaline balance in the body. Since the body is about 80% water, it is extremely important to maintain body fluids above a pH of 7.0. Scientists report that over 150 or more degenerative diseases are caused by high acid levels! We live in the most toxic generation in the history of this world. What is the result of a continual buildup of toxins?
Combining the use of Miracle II Soap and the Neutralizer will enable the body to clean out the pores from years of built up fats, chemicals and preservatives found in regular bar soaps and allow the toxins to be released from the body through the skin. You'll see the difference in your skin after just one bath in Miracle II Soap! |
||||||||||||||||||||
| Miracle II
Neutralizer: (Keep out of direct sunlight)
-Can be swallowed full
strength or mixed with another liquid if you desire. (7 drops to two ounces
or more twice daily [morning and evening]. The more you drink, the faster
you detoxify. Used to help detoxify and cleanse the body internally. People
use it for eye drops, ear drops and nasal spray for sinus and allergy
problems. |
Hydrogen peroxide is a good substance to take, but it would be far less expensive to buy it from an honest merchant.

REMOVAL: You can remove yourself from the subscription list in several different ways. Click here to read about this entire newsletter system. Every edition of The Wednesday Letter is delivered to your address with YOUR name and address in view on the letter, with a link that allows you to remove THAT name from the subscription list. If you try to send this removal message from an address different from the one you used to send in your original confirmation, then you will get a warning notice first, sent to the subscription address, asking you to confirm that you want to be removed from the list -- by replying to THAT request for confirmation, you will then be automatically removed. Thus, no one else can unsubscribe you, from some other computer, without your knowledge. But, if you send in the unsubscribe notice from the same machine used to receive the Letter, then the removal from the subscription list is automatic.
Personal Message: When you send a personal message to Karl Loren, you will receive a personal reply as per his instructions. Karl pledges that every personal message will get a personal answer. When you provide your mail address, we will send you free information including our free catalog and a cassette tape lecture by Karl Loren about heart disease, no charge, by mail, even if outside the US. You can select particular information you would like to receive, along with the free cassette tape and catalog.
