I,
Karl Loren, expect to be alive and productive for many, many more years. But the
truth also is that I am 75 (written on November 23, 2006) and want to arrange my affairs in an orderly fashion
so that my legacy of information can be carried forward and a NEW Executive Director can smoothly and successfully keep the
tradition and purposes of Vibrant Life alive for many more decades, surely to
include time when I am no longer here to influence things. My wife, Jean
Ross, likewise, joins me in wanting to establish a legacy of our life's work, in
Vibrant Life, that will continue to serve the public.
Vibrant Life is a "family business" but only with my wife and myself. I do not plan for any other part of my family to have any automatic access to this business or legacy. The NEW Executive Director will also be the NEW Owner.
My "estate" at the time of my death, will not include any inheritance of this business -- rather I expect to turn over ownership fully to the one or more executives I have selected, trained and seen to prove themselves in operation of the business.
I have been using the Hubbard® Management System for all my business activities -- I expect the management that succeeds me to either already know that System, or to learn it. I owe much of my success to the use of that System.
Within
this framework I have been working for some months now on what I call an Electronic Information System: Modernization Plan. This Plan has many, many parts, currently being developed on restricted web
pages for the Staff of Vibrant Life to observe and contribute to as I develop
the plan. As part of this plan I have developed a very long range concept
for Vibrant Life -- to extend into the far future.
I would hope that my planning has been sound enough to guide others into and through this future.
I now publicize the "Purposes" for Vibrant Life. The "purpose" for any group, as I use this term, is to describe long term goals which help accomplish THE "goal" which is the longest term expectation in this planning process.
There are many more elements to this planning process, some of which, from time to time, I may want to share with any in the public who care to read. One of my great pleasures in life is the exchange of personal and philosophical communications. Any who read this page and share any of the passion I have for improving conditions on this planet are cordially invited to enter into what can be an intense (or not) and far-reaching personal exchange with me -- typically by eMail.
So, here are those dear-to-my-heart expectations -- my guidance to my successors, and my pledge to those who read and look for someone to trust and follow, if you wish.
The Vibrant Life Goal
A Civilization With Healthy Bodies, Free Of The Bodily Distractions That Might Prevent Pursuit Of Spiritual Freedom
As you can see from this goal, my interests go far beyond the physical health which my products may bring to you, and even far beyond the value of any advice I might give to you on health matters. I leave to YOU the choice of how YOU achieve "spiritual freedom" but THAT is my goal for my Company. I want to help you achieve bodily health so that you can THEN work on the more important goal of "spiritual freedom" no matter how you may choose to define that!
In the furtherance of this Goal I have sub-divided that Goal into "purposes" described here:
Purposes

To expose false data about the health of the body, and provide true and valid data.

To promote the greater truth of the seniority of spiritual factors over material factors affecting the health of the body.

To promote the physical factor of detoxification as senior in importance to the factor of deficiencies relative to the health of the body.

To provide true data and useful products and services relative to the detoxification of the body.

To provide true data and useful products and services relative to the deficiencies that affect the health of the body.

To develop and use an Electronic Information System that delivers valuable information to clients effectively and serves society with superior effectiveness to accomplish the other Purposes.
I invite you to correspond with me on these matters. This is high level philosophy for me, and may well be for you also. In that vein I would delight in discussing in more detail how I am accomplishing these purposes, and how I intend to move on into the future with a new "Electronic Information System" that supports this Goal and these Purposes.
I am working on plans that are very exciting to me. All of these plans are not yet ready to offer to the public, but they will be, and I will publish those details as appropriate.

Introduction To The Study and Test Section
For more than 20
years Karl Loren, and Vibrant Life, have been presenting true and valid
information on many health subjects. At the same time we have been selling a
number of specially-designed vitamin formulas.
The information has been free, sale of the formulas are the source of income that has allowed the "free information" to be published.
One of the most exciting of these has been the electronic newsletters now being published by Karl. Currently there are three weekly letters -- there are plans for more.
I, Karl Loren, have long recognized that the "free information" on my 100,000 pages is actually more valuable than the very formulas we sell. I have also become aware that there are literally thousands of people who visit my web sites but do not have the skill to study and use the valuable free information published there.
Oh, some do read and understand -- those are the people who become customers. But a great many more people visit, don't read, or stop reading, or are "conflicted" with contrary false data they have picked up elsewhere.
In
my Golden Years of Retirement I have had this grand vision of helping my
fellow-man far more than I have, so far, with the free information and formulas
we offer.
I am now in the process of developing a series of "electronic courses" (called "eCourses") that will help individuals study anything better, but in particular to study (not just read) the thousands of pages I have on health subjects.
These are "courses" which you would "sign up for" on the Internet, and "take" on the Internet -- using your own browser to study the material on my pages. There will be a fee, but a modest one. You will be able to buy batches of courses, at a discount, and take them as you wish. You'll be able to give them as gifts to others. You will also be able to "re-take" the course at any future time, once paid for. I have some of these courses in progress, but figure it will take several months before I can announce at least an initial batch of them. You should figure I am passionate about "education" from the article I wrote HERE.
Down the line I may well prepare these courses on CDs. I have already started work on "slide shows" which include images, background music and "voice-over." One of the first of these I produced was for a grandson's wedding -- here.
For many years I was in a mode of doing research and writing on various health subjects. This job is not done, but I see, now, a more vital job of helping MORE people understand this information as opposed to just putting more of it "out there."
In most cases the "free information" will continue to exist in published form, on my many web sites. But, selectively, I will be taking some of this material and reviewing it for accuracy and usefulness, then designing eCourses around various subjects.
You will then have a choice of reading the already-published free information, or paying a small fee to register as a student of various eCourses -- presenting a "modernized" version of the original data, but much more importantly, presenting this information in a way that greatly increases your ability to understand and use the data.
The first eCourse, of course, must be one that describes the very technology of study that I will be using in designing these eCourses.
That is the first eCourse -- the "Technology of Study."
Just for now it is free -- there are many more improvements I have planned for all eCourses, including this one on Study Technology.
Many of my courses will be written only for the staff at Vibrant Life so that they can learn how to continue to operate the Company with the same full service to customers that I have provided.
The overall plan will be that you register as a "student." That registration is simple and there is no cost to register. You then select an eCourse, pay the indicated fee (by credit card -- this is entirely an automated process) and start.
The underlying program will keep track of what eCourses you have paid for. You will have indefinite access to such courses -- since I believe it may take some students several times through the material to gain a full understanding. Your payment will not, however, allow any other person to take the course. You will receive "scores" on the various tests within the study program -- when you fully understand the material it should be entirely possible to move through the hundreds of questions and attain the 100% score.
It should also be fun!
The underlying program will keep track of your answers to various questions and both send you an eMail report and maintain your "student history" in a database that YOU can access and review, as you wish.
Brief Comments On How Wrong Relationships Lead To Disease
Another broad area of my interests concerns "morality." I have found that one of the primary causes of disease and upset is that people AROUND you who violate the common sense moral code -- that behavior is what makes YOU sick!
There are too many people who believe in the old saw of "See no Evil, Speak no Evil and Hear no Evil!" Evil needs to be identified and confronted.
This is revolutionary information -- far more important than my research and writings on heart disease and cancer. Thus I have thousands of web pages on the subject of morals -- and offer free copies of the common sense moral code -- as well as "morals counseling" to any who ask. Too many people, still, have no idea that the drugs, vitamins, surgery, whatever which they use may not help them at all if they have "wrong relationships" in their life.
