Note that the instructions for this remedy were to change dosages every THREE days. I misread these instructions and started with 37.5 mg the first half day, instead of 7.5 mg, and when I returned to the proper beginning dosage, of 7.5 mg, I then mistakenly went for three days at that dosage and then switched every fourth day. I realized this error early on, but decided that I would continue on the same four-day schedule as I had started on.
Also, I understood the vital importance of taking the capsules within one or two minutes of the exactly scheduled time. Nonetheless there were several times when something "happened" and I just forgot, or was away from the capsules, and took them at a very different time. In these cases I did not try to adjust the normal schedule. I had originally planned to take the capsules at 8 AM and 8 PM. So, if I erred, and took the capsule at, say, 11 PM, I still took the next one at 8:00 AM the next day.
I also found that I was getting very erratic readings of the digital thermometer. For instance, I would take the temperature at 10 AM, then again at 10:03 AM and find that the reading was different by a full degree. This led me to take the measurement many times, and see how much it would vary.
There were times when several different readings all gave the same measurement. Other times the reading would vary. I used some selectivity during the day, picking the higher readings, when there were several within a short time period.
I also felt, but am not sure, that my thermometer may have needed to be put in the mouth in exactly the "right" location -- under the tongue, in what I guess is called the "hot spot" at the center and under the tongue. It seemed to me that I often got erratic readings when I inserted the thermometer sloppily, or too slowly, or whatever. I decided that these temperature readings are not likely to be stable for those who take them.
In general, however, near the end of the period, it was obvious that the "average" temperature during the day's three readings was significantly higher, closer to the normal of 98.6 than it had been at the beginning of this treatment.
I did NOT notice a dramatic change in energy or "well being" but I also am certain that I never felt worse from taking this hormone, and would generally say that I probably felt more "normal" and somewhat more energy at the end of the treatment.
I am writing this at the end of the first day of taking 7.5 mg capsule, and have two more such days to go -- then will measure the temperature for several further days, with zero hormone, to see that the temperature remains at about the normal 98.6 level.
I found it "tricky" to remember or measure the proper times to take my temperature or take a capsule, but it seems that the remedy worked fine even though I made these "mistakes."
