One of
the most common questions I frequently receive is from someone who wants MY
opinion on some product, or some multi-level-marketing company.
For many years I resisted these queries -- preferring to spend my research and writing time on heart disease, cancer and other health issues.
But, I've still done a fair number of investigations of MLMs and new products. I have found several of these to be so worthless, or in my opinion so fraudulent that I started publishing my comments.
Then I featured some of these in one of my weekly newsletters, called the Wednesday Letter, and I was amazed at the intriguing response I got from that newsletter. I got many compliments, and many very serious and sincere requests for me to look into this or that thing.
I then developed a whole technology for evaluating these -- not only these MLMs but any type of advertising or promotion, and developed an entire technology, with help, for the teaching of reading.
People who read about HOW to detect these MLM frauds then wrote to me and said things like, "Well, Karl, I read about psychobabble, but I don't seem to see these deceptive web pages as quickly or clearly as you do. Would you visit www.xxxx.com and let me know what you think?"
So, I've decided to add a regular feature, within the "FAQ" (Frequently Asked Questions) section of my web where I would briefly describe and link to my analysis of various products, MLMs, or other such that come my way.
