How about YOUR question here?
Read below or choose another question.
Here is an actual message I received on October 14, 1998.
Dear Mr. Loren,
I am on my third bottle of Life Glow.
I had my three month check up the Doctor was very angry with me.
My cholesterol went up a hundred points and the HDL and LDL has a very wide spread.
I thought Life Glow was supposed to lower my Cholesterol.
I started out taking the drip I found out the doctor was ripping me off he was charging $125.00 for a ninety minute drip.
He took me off of all medication and I am still off of it, with the exception of the prescription for pain that I am taking to stop all the pain I got from my Heart, Cholesterol and Diabetes too.
Is the pain medicine causing the Life Glow not to work the pain medicine is Arthotec 75?
Would be grateful for any help you can give me.
Sincerely
Warren
[Note: When Warren wrote the product was called "Life Glow." It was revised and is now called "Life Glow Plus."
Dear Warren,
Yours is an interesting letter. I'd like to take some time and answer it thoroughly. (Some time after responding here I did a major study on cholesterol -- click here to read that report.)
First, I am taking the liberty of publishing your letter, without change, and putting your letter and my answer out here for all to see. While you are not particularly complaining, it is clear that you are disappointed that Life Glow Plus did not create an improvement that you and your doctor could both agree on, or even either you agree on.
So, let's explore this.
In the case of most people there is some person who he or she regards as their most important source of advice on health matters. Often it is some doctor. Sometimes it is a relative or friend. It is not very common for many of our customers to place ME in that position, no matter how much they might like me or agree with me. I don't get into that position, probably, because I am almost always "at a distance." In other words, while I take to hundreds of people on the phone, I don't see you in person and certainly don't try to "diagnose."
Now, I'm not running away from my responsibility for giving advice, but I am pointing out that it is very difficult for a person (like you or anyone) to accept ME as your primary source of advice. What is even more difficult is when your doctor disagrees with ME.
Or, when, perhaps, you tell your doctor about the Life Glow Plus you are taking, but your doctor tells you that it is junk, or even harmful.
You now have two persons you like, disagreeing with one another. That's a difficult position to be in.
When you add to this that routinely I claim that many orthodox medical doctors are so personally mis-informed that their advice is very harmful. In other words, I don't shrink from being very critical of doctors.
And, on the other side, many doctors feel that high dosages of vitamins are a fraud.
When you have two "friends" who have such opposite views, it certainly causes at least a confusion for you.
Normally I will simply tell someone that "I cannot and do not try to take the place of your doctor. I suggest you either listen to the doctor, and take his advice, or get a new doctor who thinks more the way I do."
So, on that note, I have written a 400 page book about heart disease. One of the main points I make in that book is about the lies you have been told about cholesterol. I won't try to take space here to repeat all that. If you don't have my book, I encourage you to get it.
Cholesterol is NOT caused by cholesterol in your food!
High cholesterol is NOT a serious cause of heart disease.
Cholesterol lowering drugs might, indeed, lower your cholesterol, but they have harmful side effects and DO NOT reduce death from heart disease.
The diet recommended to lower your cholesterol is, in fact, very likely to increase the chance of death from heart disease.
I have written extensively about the lies coming from the American Heart Association, and from many doctors.
Now, when you take THAT position, and lay it along side of some doctor's opinion that Life Glow Plus is no good, you can see that the normal person cannot live comfortably with having TWO sources of health advice who differ so much.
Normally I never "win" such a tussle!
If you like your doctor, then I say that you must stick with his advice. If he tells you to not take Life Glow Plus, or to take a cholesterol-lowering drug, or that your cholesterol is TOO high, and you want to stick with him, that my opinions on this will only cause you discomfort.
I don't want to persuade you away from a licensed medical professional -=- it has to be your own decision to find a different doctor, if you wish.
I am not saying that it is healthy to have a "high" cholesterol level, only that doctors lie about it to you.
Incidentally, I don't think that $125 for an intravenous chelation treatment is a rip-off. That treatment is far better, and less costly than bypass or drugs.
And, do I understand that the same doctor who was giving you IV Chelation then took you off of it, and has put you on a pain drug? This is curious. Let me know. I'll publish your further data, and my comments, on this page as it goes along.
Next, Life Glow Plus is NOT designed to lower cholesterol!
You can see how that would be.
We don't believe that high cholesterol is a heart risk, so why would be claim to lower the cholesterol with our vitamins?
We do believe that Life Glow Plus will increase blood circulation, and that the increased blood circulation can greatly reduce your chances of stroke or heart attack.
So, when the doctor says that your cholesterol is too high, that it has gone up (and you realize that it may have gone up after starting Life Glow Plus), even then you won't find us saying that Life Glow Plus should prevent high cholesterol.
Now, it is very true, also, that all men, so far, are mortal. People are going to die, whether they use Life Glow Plus or not. We think Life Glow Plus will prolong life, and increase the quality of life. But, no matter how much Life Glow Plus you take, you are going to die. What will you die of? Probably a heart problem because that is still the number one cause of death in America.
So, you are now off those drugs? I think that is good news. What drugs were there?
But, pain?
Arthotec?
Well, here is what I find about Arthotec:
Nothing! In my 1994 book (PDR), I don't find it. That means that it is a new drug (not unusual) or perhaps there is a different name. I'll look further, and perhaps you can send me a longer or more complete name? Or, the manufacturer.
I have never heard of a conflict between some drug and Life Glow Plus. The Life Glow Plus will generally never interfere with a drug. The reverse can be true. You might get less value from Life Glow Plus because some drug is harming you -- reversing some of the good being done by Life Glow Plus. But even that would be unusual.
As you can read in many, many pages on this site, Life Glow Plus"works" by removing toxic metals from your body. When these are removed there is a great reduction in the formation of "free radicals" in your body. Most medical drugs create free radicals, and cause toxic reactions.
Do you have any concern that the pain you feel is caused by the Life Glow? Let me know.
Finally, whenever you might worry that the Life Glow Plus is causing harm, or, in this case, a higher cholesterol, my advice is always the same.
Stop taking Life Glow Plus.
For a while. See if the unwanted condition goes away when you stop taking Life Glow Plus.
That certainly has happened in some cases. It could happen in your case. But, I find it to be rare, and never can be traced to any scientific explanation of why.
Sincerely,
Karl Loren
