Dear Clyde
Ah, you ask a question of far-greater importance than you might think.
I will write in detail, and then publish your question and my answer as a FAQ also.
Toxicity?
There are basically two very different forms of toxins:

First are the organic toxins, not normally called "toxins" but which could be called that -- consisting of germs, fungus, parasites and other living and non-living "things" with protein in them. This would include viruses. |
Next are the inorganic toxins, such as lead, mercury, iron, cadmium and mostly heavy metals
Much of this comes from factories and car exhaust.
There are probably more complete definitions of these two classifications.
You would handle organic toxins by improving the immune system -- not by "taking" something like a drug or vitamin to "get rid of viruses." I sell something called "Transfer Factor" and you should read the page where I've written a lengthy article about "them," at:
Generally when we talk about detoxification we think of getting rid of metal toxins. Then you are into something called, generally, a "chelator." that is a substance which grabs the toxic metal and helps remove it from the body.
Finally, there is a condition of sickness where a combination of organic and inorganic toxins are causing severe illness or weakness and where the detoxification process itself (because it "loosens" poisons prior to their being "flushed out" of the body -- this process can add to the toxic load and make a person more ill.
For instance, you can have a piece of toxic metal which is "stuck" into some tissue, causing some problem. But, the detoxification of that piece of metal may result in it first becoming "unstuck" and then floating in the blood stream where it can to toxic overload. In such a case the chelation might actually be harmful, or the chelation may have to be done on a very gentle gradient.
In fact, one of the safest detoxifiers is just plain water. A person, even in poor health, should drink at least a gallon of water per day -- small amounts (like 4 ounces) every twenty minutes. You will urinate a lot -- getting rid of toxins of all types.
So, a "strenuous detoxification program" for a person in very poor health should only be undertaken under professional supervision.
If you have decided that you are not in need of professional supervision, and have gotten to the point of drinking a gallon of water per day, you could then decide whether you need improvement of your immune system, or elimination of toxic metals as being most important. You can do both at the same time -- and generally only money would be the consideration here.
For detoxifying the body of organic toxins (virus, germs, infections) I would ONLY recommend colostrum, or much better, "Transfer Factor." (Again, read about transfer factors at: http://www.supercolostrum.com .
Your real choice of variety comes with getting rid of inorganic toxins -- and besides choosing a good chelating formula (containing cysteine and EDTA, at least) would be to also consider how you can also work in exercise and sauna along with the detoxifying formula. Exercise and sauna (heat) get the blood moving faster and greatly improves the efficiency of the chelation process.
Drinking lots of water, and sweating, helps eliminate those toxins through the urine and sweat.
Colonics and enemas are a very direct way of removing toxins of all sorts from the intestines. You can even move in the direction of "inserts" of things (like garlic) into the rectum, and leaving them there to provide detoxification in a direct sense to the lower intestine.
You can take MSM to increase the permeability of cells membranes so that the cells can get rid of toxins more easily. You can put "substances" such as MSM lotion, or poultices of various types, on your skin as a localized detoxifyer.
When you look at this picture in these simplicities, the whole puzzle of "detoxification" falls into a few simple actions.
The Life Glow Plus is, I think, the finest metal detoxifying formula ever invented. Take 20 or even more of these capsules per day, with lots of water (more than that!), add exercise and some time in a sauna or steam room, and even change your diet to add fewer toxins (eliminate coffee, sodas) to your body. Obviously, quit smoking, find clean air to breathe.
when you have grasped the simplicity of the above, you should not feel confused by the project -- there are just a few very basic parts of the inorganic detoxification process.
Drugs plan NO place in this -- they only add toxins to the body. The drugs may seem necessary to kill some bad bugs, or to numb yourself to some pain, but eventually you have to rid your body of the drug residues which usually "lock up" in the fatty tissues and cannot be removed without the type of detoxification I've described.
Another substance which if fantastic for helping to detoxify is the B3 vitamin, Niacin. When you take some, you will usually get a "flush" and that is simply the small blood vessels getting bigger for a while, and making it easier for toxins to move out of that area. If, at the same time, you have genuine chelating substances (Cysteine and EDTA) the niacin is all the more effective. After a couple days on any particular level of niacin you will NOT get the dilation effect, so you then increase the dosage of niacin.
However, be very careful to NOT take ONLY niacin on an increasing dosage, but increase ALSO all the other vitamins in balance. Life Glow Plus is a "balanced formula." It contains only about 180 mg of niacin in 20 capsules.
You could add more niacin, separately, but in all honesty you should then add at least all the A, B, C, D vitamins to the extra niacin, in the same ratio as is shown on the Life Glow Plus label. (There is no need to increase the amino acids, etc., just the basic vitamins.)
There is alot here, but it is very basic and simple. You can start modestly, or aggressively. You can and should start with water and exercise -- don't spend a penny on any commercial product until you have proven to yourself that you have the discipline to do the free and easy things.
Once you have a daily exercise program, and lots of water (add in deep breathing regularly) you can then consider adding other things. I would, actually, add a daily sauna before adding vitamins. Colonics or enemas depend on your courage and their availability. Massage will help in this regard, too, asking the masseuse to concentrate on the lymph system and improving "flows" in the body.
Well, that ought to be enough to satisfy any one for a start.
I have deliberately stayed away from the "products" that would be needed during the first 30 days. That is too commercial. There are things you need to do FIRST that don't require any purchases. If you don't do those, don't go looking for magic pills to do the job for you. |
