Dear Karl,
I would assume that you are against smoking and in favor of the tobacco settlement that is currently in Congress?
I'd appreciate your views on that.

Well, first I think smoking is an individual decision, and not one which should be forced on you.
But, I also think that smoking is terribly harmful to your health and that it just doesn't make sense for the government to subsidize tobacco farmers and then give immunity from liability from law suit to the cigarette companies.
