Multi Level Marketing Companies Just Never Have A Worthwhile Oral Chelation Formula!
When you understand the financial realities of an MLM company (a "multi level marketing" company) you will also understand what type of profit margins they MUST have, and why they can never compete in price with a product sold through the traditional marketing channels, such as Vibrant Life sells direct to consumers all over the world.
MLM companies are well known to work only on extremely high profit margins. Here would be an accurate example of the financial realities:
The MLM has a special vitamin C formula. First, they cannot possibly sell "plain" vitamin C that could be price-compared with other brands of vitamin C. So, they find some way to make their vitamin C different, and THEN they find a way to claim that this difference is very valuable. This is the way they justify their high price compared to "ordinary" vitamin C.

This analysis shows that you are paying about $2,000 per pound for the vitamin C contained in their formula -- the vitamin C that comes from the natural source called "Acerola Cherries." Here is part of that story:
One tablet of Amway's special BioC Plus, Vitamin C contains 35 mg of Vitamin C. The 30-packet unit is $42.60, providing a total of 10.5 grams of vitamin C, for $42.60, or $4.06 per gram. Amway recommends one tablet per day -- compared to Life Glow Plus which includes 3,000 mg of Vitamin C per day. This Amway product would be $4,060 per kilogram for the Vitamin C. "Regular" ascorbic acid can be purchased in bulk, for manufacture into vitamin c tablets at $20 per KG or less. This product does NOT show the quantity of vitamin C taken from Acerola cherries. We know from the label information that there is more ascorbic acid in this formula than there is vitamin C from Acerola cherries. There is no law requiring Amway to include more than a trace of vitamin C from Acerola Cherries in order to make the label claim they make. Thus, if you wanted Vitamin C, and wanted to compare Amway's "natural" vitamin C with ordinary Vitamin C, you would be paying about 100 times more for this so-called natural form -- with no idea of how much of the so-called "natural" there was in the product anyway. Amway is certainly a very reputable company -- and there is no question that their vitamins are high quality. But, MLM companies MUST have extremely high margins because they pay enormous commissions to millions of distributors.
When it comes to MLM companies selling what they claim are "oral chelation" formulas you find they are pitifully low in the most important ingredients. I have examples of many of these worthless formulas -- click here. One of them is described HERE and part of that description is below:
This product was NOT offered on the Web. Like many other frauds in the current scene, this company invested millions in a gorgeous full color, 12 page brochure, mailed out to millions of people. The brochure did NOT include the ingredients -- neither the names of the ingredients, nor the quantities. I obtained the ingredient list and it is below. You can read through the list and realize that in most areas this product has about 10% of what is contained in Life Glow Plus. The price is lower, of course, by it should be 10% of the Life Glow Plus price. Instead it is less than half of the Vibrant Life product price. So, you pay about half, but get about 10%. That is a rather typical fraud among other oral chelation formulas. [source]
MLM companies are often able to bring truly extraordinary new products to the market -- particularly where they have a patent on some part of it. But, when the product cannot be patented (as oral chelation cannot), they cannot possibly stay in business against a company like Vibrant Life. Our cost of selling is far, far less than any MLM company.
Another aspect of this is that oral chelation requires a tremendous amount of education of the consumer. Most people "know" they should take "some vitamins." But, when you go to "most people" and talk about a vitamin that might cost $75 per month, they look at you in shocked disbelief! Vibrant Life has now published well over 15,000 pages of educational information about heart disease. There is no single web site in the world that comes anywhere near that in terms of quantity of information.
Any other company, MLM or not, has to fact the daunting prospect of competing with the one company that has been around longer than almost every other, that has the best formula -- easily proven -- and a fair price.
So, the point here is that someone of good will, who is selling Shaklee or Amway vitamins, or any of thousands of other companies, is not at all likely to have, within his MLM brand, a legitimate oral chelation formula. For such a person, if he wants an oral chelation product, and would prefer to NOT get all the other vitamins that should be taken with any single purpose product, this person will find Life Glow Basic very attractive.
Customers of MLM distributors are often family, friends or otherwise very loyal. They "WANT" to buy all their vitamins from their niece or daughter, or whatever. But, heart disease is too serious to leave to the relatives. When you want to handle heart disease you want to know that the source of your product knows what he is saying, and can prove it. You want to know that the formula is effective.
If you are just buying Shaklee vitamins from the neighbor, to be politically correct, you probably don't want to take that risk when it comes to "important vitamins" that handle the toxic metals in your body.
We have nothing against MLM companies. We have even added a few items to our price list which are sold by MLM companies. For these products we offer them for sale, just like our "regular" vitamins, but we have also encouraged people to "sign up" and become distributors for those MLM Companies.
We also note with sorrow that most people who get involved in a health product MLM don't stay with the product more than a year! We've been selling the same vitamin formula for more than 17 years! We've never run into the common MLM problem of promising all sorts of hype, and then not being able to deliver it on a long term basis.
So, we continue to carry some products from MLM companies, but only because we think the products are great. We don't push the recruiting thing much. Don't get us wrong. We don't turn them away, but we just don't push them.
We've found much more satisfaction with being in complete control of the manufacturing process for our vitamins, and depending on a central source of information for our marketing.
So, I encourage you to get into some MLM company, if you wish, but we are not the place to look for that.
