If you are interested in the difference between Life Glow Basic and the other two oral chelation formulas -- this is the right page for you. Here you can judge among the three different formulas we offer -- and here is where the most basic formula is described in detail.

You might say that Life Glow Basic is like your basic house, while the other two formulas are like large mansions -- the basic house takes care of the basic needs. The mansion provides more comfort and service. There can well be a place for either type in the society.

Very briefly, Life Glow Plus and Super Life Glow are complete and balanced vitamin formulas. They contain not only a large amount of the "chelating substances" but also a complete balance, very high potency, of many other nutrients. There are more than fifty different ingredients in each of them. With either of these two products you usually won't have to take any other type of vitamin unless there is something that you particularly want, not included in these formulas. Many people find that they can quit buying many different bottles of various vitamins -- the LGP or SLG (Life Glow Plus or Super Life Glow) have everything they need. Life Glow Basic, on the other hand, is deliberately designed to be a single-purpose product. It is NOT a balanced set of all the vitamins you might need If IS designed very specifically JUST to remove toxic metals from the body. There are only four ingredients in this formula. You SHOULD take other vitamins, and you MUST take some form of minerals with this formula. It is your choice on these other vitamins and minerals.

The full story on proper dosage is below, but there are five very good reasons for taking this formula rather than either of the other two -- rather than either of the other two very complete formulas.

When you compare the costs and intended dosages Life Glow Basic is less expensive than either of the other two. Of course SLG is the most expensive. "LGB" (Life Glow Basic) is deliberately packaged so that the price of one bottle is rather high -- LGB costs $120 for a bottle of 360 capsules. However, depending on the dosage you need and want, you might do quite well on as little as one capsule per day -- meaning that one bottle will last you for one year. That makes THIS formula cost about $10 per month for a dosage that will remove toxic metals from your body.

LGB is subject to the same quantity discounts as all Vibrant Life products. Thus, one bottle is $120, but when you get four of these bottles, the cost is as for three! So, $360 pays for four bottles. The discount on 8 bottles is 30%. The discount on 24 bottles is 35% and the discount for 60 or more bottles is 40%.

The large bottle, but with deep discounts, is designed to interest people who will buy at some level of discount and then re-sell the LGB at a single bottle, or even possibly break down one bottle to a smaller quantity of capsules -- enough for a month or so. Depending on the situation, a doctor could ask the patient to come back every month for a check-up. While some people would much prefer to avoid the cost of a monthly doctor's visit, there may well be some people for whom the monthly doctor's visit is an essential for them to achieve the good health they are looking for.

The relatively high price for one bottle is also deliberately designed to give some assurance that only people with the ability and willingness to read thoroughly about this formula will buy it. It should not become a cheap $10 item in some drug store, where the customer buys it on the basis of a very skimpy understanding of what it is and how it works. You are likely to study something rather carefully if you are going to pay $120 for a single bottle.

How Long? Results When? How do I take it? Medicines?

How do I know if I need oral chelation? How long do I have to take Life Glow Basic, Life Glow Plus (or Super Life Glow) Oral Chelation? How Quickly Will I See Results? Will it interfere with medicine I'm taking? When should I take it? What is the difference between intravenous chelation therapy and oral chelation?

How Long? Results When? How do I take it? Medicines?

These are excellent questions -- asked very often. Here is a very full answer.

The first symptom has to do with cold feet. The second symptom has to do with sharp pains in the legs. The third symptom has to do with angina pain. First, as a quick answer, you will get the most dramatic results in the first three months. After that you may not notice any changes. Many people who have dramatic results within the first three months continue indefinitely, others have either discontinued taking Life Glow Basic, or reduced the dosage. With I/V chelation your most dramatic results are usually within a few days. It would not be unusual to get these dramatic changes taking only two capsules per day.

Many of those who have discontinued, or reduced dosage, have noticed within a few months that they don't feel as good as they used to, and return to take a full dosage of two or more capsules per day of Life Glow Basic, the oral chelation formula. Most I/V chelation doctors encourage you to come back regularly for "booster treatments."

Here is a much longer answer.

First if you have NOT been taking any vitamins at all, for some years, you will get a quick result based JUST on the very high potency of this vitamin formula, such as Life Glow Plus. This is not so likely to happen with Life Glow Basic since it is not a complete and balanced formula. But with Life Glow Basic you WILL get very dramatic and very fast results related to improved blood circulation.

Understand that there are two very different actions from these formulas!

There is a boost in energy, usually, from taking high potency multiple vitamins -- whether they are Vibrant Life vitamins, or any other high potency vitamin. This boost in energy, or other nice improvements, does NOT mean that any chelation is taking place. If you had numbness in your toes? It is not going to disappear with high potency multiple vitamins.

If you take the substances that chelate? For instance, if you take Life Glow Basic? You will probably NOT have the increase in energy because of taking lots of high-potency vitamins -- no! Because Life Glow Basic has only four ingredients and it has a very narrow purpose.

Life Glow Basic! It chelates! Your numb toes come back to life, your fingers get warm. Blood flow increases. Your arteries clear up and you have a much lower risk of heart attack. That's pretty good, but it is NOT the result you get when you take those high potency multiple vitamin.

If you take Life Glow Plus, you get BOTH effects. You get the boost in energy from the very high potency multiple vitamins, AND you get the chelation results -- improved blood flow, warm feet, no more dizzy spells when you get up out of a chair or the bed.

If you want the benefit of "just" a high quality, high potency formula, then JUST on that basis Life Glow Plus would be a great idea to take on an indefinite basis. After all, the daily dosage includes 3,000 milligrams of Vitamin C, and 50 other ingredients properly balanced to give maximum benefit from the combination. Also, careful cost analysis shows that, despite its apparent high cost at $50 per bottle, it is cheaper than buying all these ingredients separately. Regular I/V chelation treatments would not provide this particular benefit. Neither would Life Glow Basic.

So, if you are just looking for a very high potency multiple vitamin, Life Glow Plus is a good buy and will give you good results when taken on an indefinite basis. If you've not been taking any, or much, in the way of vitamins previously, you'll probably have immediate improvement in energy and how "well" you feel.

But, if you are mostly interested in improving your blood circulation, the Life Glow Basic will be extremely effective and less costly than Life Glow Plus.

If you have been taking massive doses of vitamins previously, even though not as high as the dosages in Life Glow Plus, you probably won't experience THIS particular result of increased energy when you take Life Glow Plus. In other words, if you are already taking 3,000 mg of Vitamin C per day, and dozens of other vitamins in comparable quantities, whether in one formula, or in several, then Life Glow Plus will not be any different from all of those, as far as this increased energy and "well-being" are concerned.

However!

If you have a problem with blood circulation, then there are ingredients within the oral chelation formula (mostly the amino acids Cysteine, N Acetyl Cysteine and EDTA) which will give you amazing results, some of them very quickly. No matter how massive the dose of "regular" vitamins (like Vitamin C, etc.) you won't get these results without the Cysteine and the EDTA.

So, there are certain symptoms of poor blood circulation. If you have these symptoms you may well have poor blood circulation. If you have any of these symptoms you would probably notice results from taking the oral chelation formula in the times shown below for each of the symptoms. You would observe these improvements whether you took Life Glow Plus or Life Glow Basic.

These symptoms are "objective." That is, they do not depend on how you "feel," physically or emotionally. It's tough to measure a vitamin result by trying to answer the question: "How do you feel?"

One person can say he or she "feels great" and they are in terrible shape. The next person can have great health and still say "I feel sick."

So, look for objective tests of change when you take vitamins. Fortunately, there are some very powerful tests for the effectiveness of the oral chelation formula.

The first symptom to consider is: "cold hands or feet" or "hands or feet which get numb easily."

In almost every married couple over 55 years in age BOTH of them know which one has cold feet in bed. I've hardly ever heard this not to be true.

Both of them will immediately answer, and accurately: "Oh yes, "John/Mary" has cold feet in bed." They both know it and don't disagree.

So, cold feet, or cold hands, are usually a symptom of low blood circulation in the hands and feet. It's natural that the "ends" of the body, the toes and fingers, would get the least amount of blood. And, it's blood that carries the warmth.

So, cold feet or cold hands, in bed or not, are a symptom of poor blood circulation.

Also, many older people well-recognize the symptom of numbness. This is when you are sitting, possibly reading or watching TV, and within 10 or 30 minutes you realize that your foot, or your hand, has "gone to sleep." It has become numb from lack of blood circulation. You may have felt a "tingling" sensation. You notice it and then rub your foot or hand to get the blood moving.

Both cold feet and hands, or numbness are dangerous signs of lower than healthy blood circulation.

If this gets bad enough it can mean heart attack and death.

Since a fairly large number of people have this symptom it is amazing that more medical attention has not been spent on relieving this symptom.

The oral chelation formula will usually eliminate this symptom within 30 days! I/V chelation therapy would probably do the same in four or five treatments.

But most people who have the cold-feet symptom have warm feet within 30 days when they take the full dosage of 20 tablets per day of Life Glow Plus (or 30 capsules per day of Super Life Glow).

They would get the same result with Life Glow Basic -- at two capsules per day.

This will be so dramatic that, for that couple in bed, BOTH of them will agree that the change has been dramatic. This is usually NOT a small change -- but such a large difference that it is very easy to observe it.

There have been people who would wear heavy socks to bed because their feet were so cold -- who, after taking Life Glow Plus for a month, have written to us to tell us that they have warm feet in bed and don't have to wear socks in bed any more.

Very much related to cold feet, or numbness, is the dizzy spells people have. That is usually nothing more than a lack of sufficient blood to the brain. When you take ANY one of the three oral chelation formulas the dizzy spells should disappear in about a month.

So, the first result, if you have this symptom, usually arrives within 30 days.

The next symptom has to do with sharp pains in the large muscles of the legs.

Here is how this very objective symptom comes about.

You arrive home from the store and carry a bag of groceries from the car into the house. By the time you've walked that short distance, carrying a not-very-heavy bag, your legs hurt a lot. They have sharp pains in the calves or thighs. You have such pain that you put down the bag and rub your legs to make the pain go away.

The rubbing works!

But, this is simply a symptom of low blood circulation in those large muscles.

The muscles need oxygen to operate and the oxygen is brought to them by the blood. If you try to use a muscle when it isn't getting enough oxygen, there is a simple mechanical reaction. There is something called "lactic acid" created inside the muscle, from lack of enough oxygen. The lactic acid is in sharp crystal form and these crystals are like small pieces of glass inside your muscle. They hurt.

They are nature's way of telling you to stop abusing the muscle -- after all, you're trying to use it when it doesn't have enough oxygen.

This symptom comes also when a person takes a walk around the block, or does any simple physical activity.

It's very frustrating because it stops you from moving. It can be relieved, usually, just by rubbing, but it scares you nonetheless.

Fortunately, this is another of those symptoms which is easily handled by oral chelation. Obviously, I/V chelation would also handle this same symptom.

Most people who have this symptom, either men or women, usually see it disappear within 90 days after starting the oral chelation formula. Probably I/V chelation would handle this in less than 20 treatments.

Yes, three months on Life Glow Basic usually eliminates this "painful leg" symptom. But three months on Life Glow Basic would ALSO handle this symptom.

Now, you might have other problems and the pain doesn't go away, but for most people the pain-in-the-leg symptom simply means low blood circulation and it disappears within 90 days of using Life Glow Basic at the rate of about one or two capsules per day.

If you quit taking Life Glow Basic, would either the cold feet or the painful legs come back? It's hard to say. These problems would certainly not return immediately, but they probably would return eventually. Life Glow Basic is really not a cure or a permanent solution to low blood circulation. It works! That's a blessed miracle! But, it isn't going to eliminate the problems in your diet, or your environment, which are probably causing the blood circulation to get lower.

So, for most people who have had these benefits (increased blood circulation -- leading to elimination of these symptoms) they will find that they can reduce the dosage, or switch from Life Glow Plus to Life Glow Basic. At this point a "maintenance dosage" of Life Glow Basic, probably two capsules per day, would continue the chelation treatment and make a permanent improvement in blood flow. If you reduced the Life Glow Plus from 20 capsules per day to five, for instance, you would NOT be getting enough of the chelating substance to continue the chelation therapy -- the symptoms could return.

This is why many people taking Life Glow Plus return to full dosage after trying it for a few months at reduced dosage. With the Life Glow Basic, say one capsule per day, and half dosage of Life Glow Plus, they would be getting a continuing chelation treatment AND a good supply of high potency vitamins.

Now, there is a third symptom which also gets handled with oral chelation, but it is harder to measure and it takes longer to handle.

Angina Pain is a very scary thing. I haven't personally ever had it so I can only speak from what others have told me. It feels like someone hit you on the chest with a sledge hammer. It really hurts. It comes, unexpectedly, and you just feel like someone, without notice or warning, just came up and hit your body with a hammer.

It hurts!

The typical medical answer is nitroglycerine. That works, too!

The angina pain is usually caused by a sudden reduction in blood flow, caused the arteries becoming smaller suddenly. There might well be a blockage too, but the arteries are made to expand and contract -- so when you already have some blockage in your arteries and you have some sudden tension, for instance, the tension can cause the arteries to suddenly contract -- get smaller.

You get a sudden reduction in the flow of blood TO the heart.

You get a tremendous pain in the heart -- called an angina pain.

The nitroglycerine causes the muscles to relax -- all of them in the body. As the muscles inside the arteries relax, the artery gets larger -- it expands. You get an immediate increase in blood flow and the angina pain stops.

You still "feel" the previous pain, but the nitro, under the tongue, handles this symptom.

The oral chelation formula will usually also handle this problem, but it often takes a year or more before this is handled. I wouldn't suggest that I/V chelation would handle this a whole lot faster.

Angina pains are usually quite irregular; you can't predict them.

So, you might have an angina pain 5 times per year, or 4 times per month -- or whatever. When the problem starts to go away, you have angina pains, perhaps, only twice in a year, or only once in a month. There is a tremendous improvement, but since the angina pains were irregular anyway, and not predictable, you might not notice when the pains occur less often.

So, it is harder to measure THIS result, but it does happen. If you have angina pains you can usually get a reduction in the number and frequency of those pains by taking the oral chelation formula for a year or so.

Again, you get this result with any one of the three formulas. What you need is approximately 1,000 mg of chelating substances per day to do all this.

If you stop taking the oral chelation formula the pains may not return immediately, but they probably will return eventually. You might go a year or more without having them, but the oral chelation is not a cure for this problem. It is a welcome means of improving things and getting rid of a very unpleasant symptom.

How long should a person take Life Glow Basic?

The answer to that is partly based on money and partly on other factors.

It is really logical to consider the cost of this formula. It is not cheap per bottle, but it can be very cheap per month! There are so-called "oral chelation" formulas which are cheap and don't work. I've described those elsewhere on this site. But, if you want the necessary quantity of the needed ingredients, whether it is Life Glow Basic or not, you will not find them to be cheap compared with some simple Vitamin C tablet.

We all have to make choices in how we spend our money and you will have to decide, based on your own budget, how much you want to spend for vitamins as well as anything else. If the money-factor is not an overriding one for you, then the answer is simple. Take Life Basic for the rest of your life. A very large number of Vibrant Life customers have been using Life Glow Plus for more than five years -- every day full dosage! We expect the use of Life Glow Basic to be even greater.

If you have achieved the types of results described above, then you can simply balance the cost of getting those results with the value to you of being free of those symptoms. Many people have been scheduled for by-pass surgery, taken Life Glow Plus, and then avoided by pass surgery. These are people who may have saved many tens of thousands of dollars and many weeks of painful bed rest after surgery. Life Glow Basic does the same thing -- we have more experience with Life Glow Plus, but the science behind both products is exact and persuasive.

Others have been able to discontinue the dangerous heart drugs which are so profitable for the drug companies.

These can be actual financial reasons in favor of continuing to take oral chelation on an indefinite basis.

But, most people simply experience some very nice improvement in their blood circulation, get rid of some unwanted symptoms, and then have to decide whether they will continue to take the formula, or not.

It takes about a minimum of 10 capsules per day of the Life Glow Plus to start getting the "oral chelation" results. That is because it takes at least 150 milligrams of the amino acid Cysteine plus the EDTA and the N Acetyl Cysteine before there is enough Cysteine to have some of the Cysteine start to be used in the body to help improve blood circulation. With smaller amounts of Cysteine, this amino acid would be used to help build muscles and body structure, like any other amino acid. There is a longer explanation of this HERE. For instance, when you eat one egg you get about 250 mg of Cysteine -- but it is perfectly balanced with other amino acids, in the egg, and thus is never available to do any chelating.

But, you could take only 10 capsules of Life Glow Plus, and one capsule of Life Glow Basic -- and have a great formula for continuing chelation.

We, of course, sell this formula so we do have a commercial interest in your buying Life Glow Plus indefinitely. You would expect that.

When to take Life Glow Basic?

There may be some good theoretical reason for taking a vitamin tablet at some special time.

But, do you know what is even more important?

The vitamin schedule should not interfere with the rest of your life and it should not be so complicated that you worry about it.

In my experience people have taken Life Glow Basic in every conceivable schedule -- and still had good results.

You can take one capsule in the morning.

You can take one at night.*

You MUST, however, take them at least one hour before a meal or at least one hour after a meal.

You can take them two hours before eating.

You can be "careful" to not eat for an hour AFTER taking them. Two hours would be OK, too.

All of these seem to work.

Take them on a schedule that works best for you.

Medicines?

Does Life Glow Basic interfere with drugs and medications?

No. Generally the reverse is true.

Usually drugs are not helping the general health of your body. They may be suppressing some activity or symptom, but they do not contribute to overall health.

So, when you are taking drugs of any kind you should expect results that are not as good from your vitamins.

But, the vitamins will not cause the drugs to become ineffective.

Drugs are, after all, designed to "work" all the time. "Work," here, means that when you take a hammer against a window -- the window will break. It is not a "maybe!" The window will break.

The drug companies could not stay in business if the results were uncertain. The result may not be a "good" result, but it is certain.

Intravenous Chelation Therapy

Intravenous chelation therapy, of course, was invented before oral chelation therapy. I/V chelation is something that can only be done by an licensed doctor. He may have a nurse put the needle in your arm, but the doctor has to order it and supervise. The treatment will cost about $100 and take about 3 or 4 hours each. They are not painful at all. Most people who get them sit around talking, or watching TV. You might get one or two treatments, or as many as five per week -- depending the doctor's opinion of your overall health and also on your own budget and schedule. The intravenous chelation process depends on the use of the artificial amino acid, EDTA, which is extremely safe and very effective.

Oral chelation is based on the amino acid Cysteine plus oral EDTA. Cysteine can be absorbed into the body when taken through the mouth -- EDTA cannot. Even so, EDTA works wonders while it is still in your stomach and intestine -- drawing toxic metals out of your body. EDTA is a very useful addition to a Cysteine oral chelation, or an oral chelation based on N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine.

Results are very quick with I/V, and the cost is far, far less than bypass surgery and sudden death. It is rare for insurance to pay for I/V chelation -- and of course insurance won't pay for oral chelation either.

All three of the Vibrant Life oral chelation formulas include something called "EDTA." There are many hundreds of pages about this substance, EDTA, in several sections of webs published by Karl Loren. EDTA is an "artificial amino acid." Foods are made up of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Let's use the word "natural" to describe the proteins in food that has been produced in some natural way -- beef. Scientists have also found ways to copy the molecular structure of natural food substances, or to alter that natural structure so as to create a new substance. Generally these are not "real" foods, but "artificial foods." Butter, for instance, is a real food. Margarine is NOT a real food.

In any event, scientists invented something called EDTA -- it is a man-made, artificial amino acid. That means that it has a molecular structure similar to natural amino acids, but is different from the natural amino acids in some ways.

Basically EDTA is able to do something very efficiently similar to the natural amino acid called Cysteine. You find Cysteine in the yolk of an egg. You will never find natural EDTA in any food product.

Cysteine has some very interesting functions in the body. When you take a small amount of it -- about 100 mg -- it will combine with other amino acids to form a complete protein and this will be used to build and re-build structure, tissue, bones, organs -- all the parts of the body.

When you take enough of it to be deliberately "out of balance" with other amino acids, it will be used to "chelate" or grab hold of metals. Once the Cysteine has grabbed the metal, the Cysteine and the metal are bound together and the body now eliminated that combined particle out of the body, in the urine. So, we say that Cysteine is a "chelating substance."

EDTA is another chelating substance. You might say that it is more powerful than Cysteine, but more accurately you would simply say that it is different. For instance, EDTA does not grab mercury whereas Cysteine does. So, different chelating substances work in different ways.

Here is the truth about heart disease. You will often hear that heart disease is caused by your eating foods that are high in cholesterol, that this excess cholesterol clogs your arteries. This is just plain false. Many years ago I started in this business by writing a Book, Life Flow One, in which I revealed the truth of the fraudulent research by which the drug companies established the lie that people needed cholesterol lowering drugs. In fact, metals in your body -- tiny molecules of metals -- get hit in a random fashion by free radicals. (Free radicals is a BIG subject -- click here to learn more about them.)

When a free radical hits something in the body, like bone, it usually stops and a new free radical is created and continues moving along. But, when a free radical hits a tiny piece of metal? Well, instead of one new free radical being created, there are thousands of them -- and as each of them hits another piece of metal, another thousand get created. So, metals in the body are fantastic multipliers of free radicals in the body.

These free radicals move almost with the speed of light -- fast -- tiny in size.

When a free radical passes through one of the cells in your arteries, it might cause some damage -- it might not.

Every cell in your body has something called the "DNA" == the blueprint for the body. The image on the right shows a model of the DNA -- it has literally thousands of atoms and electrons. A free radical is about the size of an electron -- so when the free radical hits the DNA it might steal one electron from the DNA, or it might add one -- it is random. Much of the time there is no harm, but other times, randomly, the free radical causes some damage. Click on the image to the left for a larger version.

What type of damage? That is relatively random too. One of the types of damage that a free radical can cause to the DNA, and thus to the cell itself, is that the cell becomes weak. It might not die, but it might become too weak to get rid of the accumulating garbage that gets inside the cell -- much of that garbage is actually calcium.

The cell is constantly sucking stuff in, and pushing stuff out -- calcium and other things. As the cell loses its ability to push out the excess calcium, the cell becomes less and less flexible -- the artery becomes more rigid -- blood flow is stopped.
