Vibrant Life was started in 1980 by Jean Ross and Karl Loren, husband and wife, as the business name for their activities selling Amway vitamins -- Nutralite. For a few years the business name was used for that activity, but gradually they decided to add other products besides Amway products, and eventually they discontinued their sales of Amway products. No criticism of Amway intended here. Early in this period they got heavily involved in another Multi Level Marketing company, Royal Nutrition, which was then, and still is, selling a type of vitamin formula called an "oral chelation" formula.
